A quick question

Post by James_Winthrop »

Ok maybe not so quick.

I'm level 11 Str/Fire/Glaive.. I only have 6 sp's tied into glaive so no big loss if I change it up now. However I don't want to wait much longer if I decide to make the switch. Blade I don't think is for me. The idea of blocking sounds fine but... to me something would be missing.

So i want to know about Bows.

1. How good are they in PVP?
2. If I wear Garments and use Bows will I die a lot in PVE?
3. Is the cost of arrows/pots at higher levels going to break me?
4. How do bows compare to glaives in damage?

Basically I'm considering the switch but if I do I'm going to stick with whatever I decide. Being a newblett I want to make the best informed decision I can.

Thanks in advance.
Character = Jinizane Int/Bow/Ice/Force

1) Bows are good in pvp if your a pure STR. I'd also suggest ice for PvE so you don't have to waste potions. Once you get to lvl 31-32ish thats when it starts to get fun, you get the strong bow series.
2) Not if you use ice imbue
3) Arrows are nothing. You actually use less pots for bow, since it takes longer for a mob to come there and attack you.
4) Galvie does more dmg hands down, but bow is also good in its on way.
