anyone has this experience like me?

My build is int hybrid sword with 60/80% balance. So normally i should use sword, right?
But when pvp with pure str who wear garment, i noticed that my dmg that comes from my blade is higher than dmg that comes from my sword. I bought these 2 weapons from npc to test.
Weird, right?

Sword does more magical damage, which is why its used by nukers.
Blade does more physical damage, which is why its used by str chars.

Its the way its always been.

you were probably just doing normal striking attacks, or chains or somethin. if you nuke with blade and sword, the swords damage will be higher.

if you did nuke and blade was higher...then idk what the hells up with your char lol

I dont use nuke, but i know that my nuke comes from sword is higher dmg. I use weapon skill with ice imbue (soul blade force)...

It probably comes higher because sould blade force is more of a physical based attack and blade is str based. Hope that helps.

I don't think imbue matters besides for doing more do damage than without it. Idk or maybe I missunderstood your question about the imbue thing.

u must be quite a hybridized int. Also, how high is the % on that move? :shock:

Imbue does matter a lot. Try doing SST with lvl 9 extreme fire force and then lvl 1 ice river force (1st book whatever its called).

ask ur pure STR garment friend wear armour and u fight him with sword; i tink u sword will do hi dmg than blader..
