IS BOW BETTER than nuker

well i have 2 friends and one of them is a pure int spear fire/light nuker, and the other is a pure str ice bow. they are both the same lvl (57) and it is about a 50/50 chance for either to win. the bow char has a nice sos bow and the nuker has a nice sos spear. i have seen them fight and usally the bow wins because of the freeze factor but he also does some nice dmg. so i would suggest just going with the one you like best.

im personally a nuker and i love the fact that i 1 hit mostly everything but its the low life that pisses me off.

u will lose in pvp

thats it...but still fun to play a missle luncher build is just..fun. No need to spend that much pots btw.

kill faster, there is no malee combat, stand in one spot, and shoot. not much of a time to waste on walking towads infront of the enemy.

and autumn series sux

If you went int bow then what imbue would you get? My guess is fire?

Depends on choices again. Want to try 'n' pvp? Choose fire for dmg. Want to hunt without too many trouble? Choose ice.

here's my opinion. I have a 67 archer, and a 71 nuker. the nuker is fully farmed, the archer is not. The nuker is pure int spear, the archer is pure(ish) str.

The archer 1 hit kills nukers of similiar level if he crits (depends on their gear/farming etc). 2-3 hits otherwise. He can be killed by the nuker in 2-3 hits.

Exception: sword and shield nuker gets a block or uses KD they will win.

All in all its pretty even IMO. Very much based on gear.

Now in PvE nothing kills like a nuker, end of story.

Both bow and nuker are great support damage in pvp

lastly pure int or int hybrid archer is bad. It may seem ok at lower levels, but later it sucks. Compare the magic damage on the weapons that alone tells you the story.

FUN is all matter.. some ppl like tis build some ppl dont.. all build got pros and cons.. try to exploite ur expertize and minimize ur disable and all got situations depandant..

for me SS/Spear nuker is FUN.. almost fully farmed..

Im a pure str fire archer. The question is what should i wear armor or protector? I think garment would make me very weak against glaviers/bladers.

And one more thing: is Lightning good only for grass-walk skill?

when u go int bow. think about not only how your damage compares to nukers, think also about your defence? sword/shield nukers have blocking ratio increase passive from the bicheon tree... spear nukers get hp increase passive from the heuksal tree. and for bow? you get attack rating? no defence at all. thats why i think int bow sucks. like they say int bow has same damage as a sword/shield nuker except with out the shield.

From experiences, its hard for a pure int to kill a unique at the same lvl as yours.

ALL builds do well in pve. Pick one wich does good in pvp too.

hmmm, i like this thread, very informative. i have a lvl 36 bow/str/fire archer, and i must say that it works out quite well. i rarely die (in pve) and pretty much smoke a lot of characters my lvl in pvp.

imo i like str/bow, but seeing as int/bow, sure it might be a good build from lvls 1-20 or so, then once you get to lvl 30+ when nukes become involved, whew, good luck there. THAT IS if the int/bow character was going to be used for pvp, which i would hope so if that was going to be a main or an awesome character.

but that is all just imo. but all in all, str/bow ftw.

cant quite say for int/bow seeing as i havent tried one before, but hear its decent in the 3rd degrees lvls but 32 and up didnt do quite as well, BUT yet again, that is what i ve heard about int/bow
