hello,
I just started SRO, it simular to L2 I have played. I'm currently lvl 12 (not a whole lot of time to play) and I'm relising a few areas with my skills build I could do things better.. . . kinda with pvp in mind.
so far I'm spear(gaivl?) ive been lvling up wolf bite, got the fist lvl of the spining thing:(.. force: got the self heal a few lvls, cure dissease? (you know what i mean) and green grass something(run fast).. lightning is lvld up to the point where i can get that one.
oh and ive been putting 2 in to str 1 into int evey lvl.
Thats prety much it. Then i find these forums and read about how pure str pure int .. what is a highbread?.. fire gaivl builds ice sword builds...
If i had to formulate a qustion here I guess it would be: My original plan was to get a few good attacks from the Gaivl line mixed with all the passibe buffs I can from all fire, ice, light, and the self heals from force as well. wear heavy armor and be def heavy in pvp..SOOO do you guys think this type of a mixed build with the def skills from the foce lines and a few good gaivl attacks work? do i need to add in a lightning attack (the weapon one)? should i start over due to lvling up wolf bite 4 lvls?
thanks if anyone has any input for me:)
20 lvls of figureing builds out....

well levelling masteries for their buffs is usually not a good thing to do. 3 masteries is all you need MAX. for a glavie my preference goes to fire get lightning for the running spell , donno what the passive does I don't get it. Why not ice you say ? ice is useless on a glavie , too low attacking speed to get your status in there.
As for the skills you've listed , I wouldn't start over w/ lv 4 of the wolfbite. it's pretty much useless as you get Soul spear move but 4 lvls of it wont hurt you. and as for the spinning skill it's also useless but only like 5 sp.
Now , your 2/1 ratio . I am really not a fan of it , you're only lowering your attack power but you can do more things than a pure. There's a guide about hybrids written by our most beloved hybrid SuicideGrl , check it out if keep going 2/1 . If you plan going pure still check it out

The force skill which cures disease is only really useful if you run out of universal pills. What's annoying is that you have to target yourself with SHIFT + click in order to use it, plus with universal pills being relatively expensive, you're much better off saving the mana and the SP for something else.
It's more useful though in a support position to cure someone else, for instance, you can heal a thief/hunter/trader without wearing a suit yourself so that whoever they are fighting can't kill you.
