bows dont tend to be very good at int, not enough dmg OR protection.

So no imo.

If your going bow, go pure str.
If your going int, go spear or sword.

Bowers is shooter..aight? so they have to kill as fast as they could, and leave untouchable. I've been farming as pure int in bandits and leave nothing but scratch. But the physical defence is low, so i equiped my char with armors (fully pumped with int and str) and so, im 12 lvl higher, including weapons and accers and dragon flag.

So, my point is im being sceptical for the future of this character. Guild wars ,pvp, etc...Can someone tell me, is this build ok??

Coz it seems very fine to me...(lol..u get to save time while killing or doing quest)

bow is gud for STR build since bower will deal more Critical dmg than other build.. and Critical base on STR not INT; well atleast abit like 5%-15% CRT dmg increase.. plus spear/glave skills got STUN; sword shield got block; bow got range.. if u know how to exploite ur specialty then it's ok..play ur game..

Here's the deal:
Same defence as spear but lower hp and lower atk.
Same atk as sword but no kd stab, block, extra def.

i wonder why i really dont came to the crits matter. all matters to me is consistency in hitting high.. coz crits only happens like 1/10 shoot. But the anti-devil is pretty convincing that you'll get crits. Btw, is it true that bow has the same damage as bladers? Coz i think int bow gives SUper Damage far better than bladers, not as far as int spear.

what i like is the distance...Btw, unique usually owned by bowers. but seems like all of them are pure str...than i might as well re-think about it..

i hate ppl dun think properly then banned ppl idea..
dun u think pure int bow is nice build to go??It has lower dmg than spear...but u has ignore bow's long range..dun ever say nuke long range..
u mayb wana say bow better wif pure str??coz wif anti devil skill bow has more chance to do cri??n cri dmg based on str??yes it is..but dun forget..cri depend on luck...
Ppl build pure int bow not for pvp but for job/war..jz imagine a super long range nuker standing all behind protected by tanker..Its very usefull..
PS:SRO is not all about pvp...job/war man..

I think pure INT bow would be really good for PvE because of all the consistent high damage you deal. But, what's the point? Why not just nuke for even more damage. The thing is they're both ranged, so if your probably gonna be nuking while all your bow skills collect dust. And if your nuking, why not just go for more defense(S/S) or more damage(spear). But idk, I've never made one before so I couldn't truly tell you how well they perform.

Ppl build pure int bow not for pvp but for job/war..jz imagine a super long range nuker standing all behind protected by tanker..Its very usefull..

SRO=ALL about pvp at later lvls
And archers do horrible dmg, Iv never been killed by an archer.
I was even 2v1'd by two archers 5+ my lvl, and killed them both.

Archer= not good build atm, no one REALLY knows how to build them, therfore they arnt that good.

I've noticed that a lot of the bow skills take a while to charge up, so in that time of charging up, your archer may be dealt a lot of damage, maybe enough to even kill your archer.... quickly.

yeah no one know how to build an archer..even in tSRO
but what i think is archer is assasain in this game..so it doesnt hv to get high hp but insane dmg

Last night my 69 archer was tanking and killing off 4 glaives at a time... ^^ pure str fire bow + Devil arow FTW (the splash from that move can crit and randomly own nukers XD)

lol what my bro on aege server did was started a pure int char ( WITH A BOW ) on a difernet acc that he has started palying created a lvl 9 gape sp farmed a bit so that he has enough sp to get nukes at lvl 32 and after he sp farmed enough he started lvling up like "crazy" got to lvl 16 first day second day sommy like 24-26 and then on a 3rd day he was a pure int nuker wid a spear lvl 32 sos +3 lol i started doin so 2

i think my bro is a "gineass" :p

I used a bow on my nuker build to lvl and sp farm also. now i'm lvl 32 and use my nukes. delvlved my bow skills and gave my bow to my wife to use on her pure str build. ( bow was a lvl24 SOS with great blues ). thought I did a lot of damage with the bow and inbue but the nukes are the bomb, literally. bow works good to lvl a pure int. build but when you get your nukes that's when you do the real damage.

ive seen one pure int lvl 70 archer... i don't think very highly of him though =x, he kept killing me when i was like 64, (6 lvls is a big difference), but now, that im 69 he's quite pathetic, one shot =P.. in pvp that builds pretty lousy, and you're an archer.. ur best move is antidevil (and devil arrow yes), and antidevil has a crit bonus... crits dont do you much good when you're pure int

Im full of shit? 4v1 with glavies? Riiiiiight. Show me a vid of an archer owning a blader with similar gear and level. 1v1 lvl 69+ Archer vrs lvl 69+ Blader, 9 Times out of 10 the blader will win. And yes, I dont play at Oasis, but out of all the servers who is considered the "best" person in that server. Not archers bud, sorry. Archers are the WORST of the pure builds right now, atleast in pvp.

Man i've seen this debate soooo many times...I honestly think you can give a noob the best build and gear in the game and he/she can still be beat...But i think if you know how to use a char against another type and are geared up to play against that char you have a chance...

I have to say with some of the crits i've seen it would be very hard to recover assuming you actually survive that 1st crit...Then again i haven't seen a formula for your damage - phy absorb...hmm so if you see a 10k crit is that before or after the phy absorb?

...if u think int bow works for u then stick wit it and learn that character. try extra stuff that others usually dont do.

like, since u got long range attack, how bout try puttin up like a ice/fire wall or spin spear/ shield strong def.
do those extra lil things b4 u attack since ur bow anyways u dont need to move around to attack and ur long range advantage would give u time. when opponent cancels ur wall u can do phatom away and put up wall again.
those lil trick might be key to living

if u think int bow is cool then stick wit it and mastery some tricks to help u survive on that special character
