It's not incredibly important, because as a full STR glavie user most of your damage is physical anyway, but the fire tree has a passive boost to physical damage so people tend to use fire more than lightning with glavies and blades. Professional on Xian uses lightning STR glavie, if I recall correctly, he would be better able to talk about that.

Well, I'm a Fire Glavier. You should use lvl 12 Lightning for Grass-walk, and focus on Fire. Main points of Fire to focus on are passive damage boost, Imbue(optional), and Flame Body.

I think fire is your best bet.. I like it better, but lighting for other things also.

Go fire for the buffs. Grasswalk is not a heavy SP investment.

depends on how you like to play. if you like to aggro a bunch of mobs and tank them all (i LOVE this even though i'm an int hybrid :P), then go lightning, as it'll help you attract them while hurting them AND lowering their parry ratios at the same time. if that's not your thing and you want a little (and it IS slight) dmg boost, go fire. the fire imbue also adds extra burn dmg, so there's that too.

you should have the passives and buffs in BOTH trees :)
