INT Spear struggling at 60+ mob?

Hi

my char, almost pure int spear [1:6 approx.]. Im lvl 44 atm, just wanna know how pure int or almost pure int spear deal with :
1. PvE ...giants, unique boss.
2. Jobs and PvP

If struggling, i may switch to sword+shield now than wait until then...will cost me a fortune later on. And who switched from spear to s+s can you share your reasons thnx.

s+s is better as when u reach higher lvl u will notice u will get a lot of money and u sure can afford a good shield.and when u reach higher lvl higher hp is nothing since u still die easily and even if u gt high hp ur physical balance is still very low. its better not to get spear just for a litle more damage -.- since u nuke other players 2 times and they will still die.
and int is not really a good choice.

It is my first char, i dont wanna start again as i spent almost 3months on it. I think I switched to s+s then, and get heuskal to lvl 20 or 30 for passive+soul+ghost spear.

And go sword+shield, fire, light and slight ice.

Spear to PvE, s+s to PvP or trading.
Good?
