Better for guild wars

i am pure int at moment and i wanted to know what is better build in guild wars and jobs(hunting or thiefing)? I am currently sword, shield user,
but maybe i should change to spear cause i dont care about basic 1 on 1 fighting at dw gates.i just wanna be good at guild wars

stick with s+S u need all the extra defence agaisnt players, u wanna change to spear if u only PVE

the shield will save your life, you wont see monsters hitting 9k on you XD unless its some super monster
