Glavie the best build ?

Well i dont like the glavie but, i've been thinking about it lately and it seems that the glavie is the best build for pvp, just for these simple facts:

1)Lots of HP since they are pure str and have the passive
2)They can tank (not as much as bladers but still)
3)They deal really good damage (of course not as much as nukers but still)

I havent tried a glavie, and im sure ppl will say, dont say this if you havent tried it, but just by using the logic, it seems that glavie is the top build, not to say the "best".

Anyway ill continue experimenting with the blade, so far im liking it, only lvl 5 and i plan to keep going, I dont want to start a fight and most importand i do not want to be called an Rtard or anything like that, im just posting my opinion, some will agree some will not, i just like to comment with fellow gamers.

glaives are probably the best for 1v1 pvp, due to their health and damage.

Still, they can be beaten by bladers. It all depends on farming, gear and luck.

yea dude my friend PsYch008 is a blader on rome, he was a few lvls BELOW me, he had skills about 5 lvls below HIM (i 0gap and have maxed skills btw), and he had a shitty BR shield. (I have a crit 12 glaive:P)

He KD'd like 3 times in our lil' duel and I only stunned once. That stun ended it though, after that he was dead. Cuz i did a crit on ghost spear I think, and if you read earlier my glaive has crit 12 ffs. (Thats the highest crit ive ever owned haha it may not be the best but its great to me).

He got me down to around 200 of my 2200 hp though.

Bladers scare me ._."

and he hadn't even bought his 3rd degree gear yet he still had some 2nd degree gears on l0ol. Those kd's are ridiculous. Like someone said before it's all about luck, farming, and gears.

I hadn't farmed but I had infintely better gears. He had luck.

As in 3 slighlty lower lvl ppl try to gank a glavier and he kills them all?

I've seen it happenmany times....

Like..Remember when we went on that union trade run? From HT to JG? And out of nowhere that lvl 42~51 (idk exactly but he was using a Blue Moon Glavie and it didn't have ANY shine or glow. meaning no sos or +3) glavier took on PhoenixCrash, DrunkMaster, and PsYch008? Phoneix being lvl 51, Drunk being lvl 48ish, and PsYch being 48ish as well?

I fought an ice blader and fire blader
Lvls should be about te same as me because the dmg proportion is balanced.

Weapon i use: NPC glaive (ya don't laugh)
Shield they use: I think should be NPC too haha and shitty BR

The ice blader gave me a heck lots of trouble. Block/freeze/KD. Phiew. Won by a narrow margin but the fight is about 5 min

The fire blader F*** the shit out of me. First match lost. 2nd match i won but through lucky critical.

So i don't think glaive is very strong but it's not weak either.

....common why cant u guys figure out that its all about ur gear?
i seen many str own by int cuz they got better gear and higher balance which 2 nukes em to death. And i hve seen str ownin int cuz they got higher crit and better mag d.

ok one thing i dont understand is why blades can tank more.

is it for the fact the have shield, and for that block and more def??

doesnt the more hp of glavie make it more of a tank?

knockdown nukers can sometimes own glaviers pretty hard though, with the new str + stamina bonus alchemy and ice immunity. They are much worse against nukers than bladers are. Also, you have a much higher chance of KD than stun, so naturally stun is much more deadly than KD, especially at lower lvls when there is a lower stun chance than with SSS, or knockback with GSM. Meh, glavie is very good at 1v1 but in the end it all comes down to equips and luck. Consider that now int nukers and bladers can have 100 critical on their shield, reducing an otherwise amazing 15 crit weapon to the effect of a 5 crit weapon, whereas a 15 block shield isnt as impressive as a 15 crit weapon, so 100 BR really doesnt matter *quite* as much, though you still need to get a BR blue stat on glaives to win pvp.

I have this lvl 30 glaivier, pure str/fire and all, and i admit, at least in pve (i'm not much of a pvp-er) i was kicking arse and taking names. BUT.... glaivie (at least for me) is sooooo boring. So i switched to bow (well, made another char), and i like it.

My advice for the OP is if you don't like it, don't choose glaive. It's a game, not a job......it's all about having fun.

because neverend even if we know it is GLAIVE, were used to glavie, and everyone in the game who doesnt post on srf and doesnt care knows it as glavie, and personally, I think GLAVIE sounds hella cooler than glaive. especially cuz glaive rhymes with blade and i dont like that.

If we are talking pure str on both the blader and the glavier, with all the bonus on weapons and armor, then the health/mana should ultimately be the same. Also, you have to remember any bladers that are pvping, have spent a shit load of cash on their shields and blades. Most of the attacks that you through at them will do as low a damage as they can make it, and the rest will be blocked by the shield anyways. Believe me, we make an effort to survive, especially when we do the least amount of damage per shot. >.<

no he isnt talking about real money, he is talking about game money that bladers use to increase the stats of their blades by enhancing them with tablets and elixirs and all that good stuff, and that stuff cost $$.

glaivers are the best OVERALL build in the game... IMO... decent at PVP and decent at PVM...

bladers walk all over glaivers in PVP of the same level 45+ (equal equips)
KD + stab + stab kills anything...

i was fighting my friend... i was level 42 and he was 44...
i had a SOS+3 blade and a SOM+5 shield...
he had a SOM+5 glaive...

i easily tanked him for 5 mins... untill he got a stun and three crits in a row...

if i wouldve had my second stab in that fight i wouldve easily killed him within five minutes...

its all about gear and luck...

but glaive is overall the best in my opinion
