Masteries After Cap Is Raised

Post by IguanaRampage »

I know from Sutaseyu's posts that the mastery cap will not be raised. I see so many lvl 70s with uber-builds, but they've got 280, 290, sometimes 300 out of possible 300 mastery lvls! My question to them is what will they do when the cap is actually raised very soon? Will you just raise fire (or whatever) to lvl 80 and leave rest as is? Or will you bring some masteries down to 40/50 in order to bring other skills such as lightning to 70/80? I suppose this all depends on whether they make new skills or not.
What will you do if skills up til 80 come out? What will you do if they dont?

They will de-skill their some of their less-needed buff trees.(maybe Ice, or Pacheon) and boost their Imbue tree, and their Weap Tree(if Str), or their Fire & Light if a Nuker.

Is my understanding correct?

iSRO follows what is happening on kSRO?

Currently kSRO has cap at 90 or 150 or what ??

If this is so, then shouldn't we be able to work out what to expect here by what has happened on kSRO?

I am fortunate, in that I am still lvl54 (farming SP) so won't be maxing out 3 trees and screwing myself in the process

I don't know what will happen when we see past the 80 cap, hopefully we'll get an idea (and be able to prepare/plan) from kSRO caps.

After reading several forum posts time ago about there being no cap raised, I decided that if I want to lvl up skills for the future, i'll have to de-lvl my force, as it's my most least important skill. I raised my ice to 50 where it will stay and my force is now 16 which i'll de-lvl to 0 when I get silk *to broke to use ign potions* I'll be able to raise my fire and my heuskal to 90 well heuskal 88 and my light will stay at 68 permently. Hopefully they will raise the skill cap after 90 otherwise, i'll have to de-lvl cold..

for 80 cap:

heuk 69
cold 68
light 68
fire 80

for 90:

heuk 69
cold 68
light 68
fire 90

might even remove lightningbolt at 90cap then and add a maxed first book firewave :P
