This is one thing I've never quite understood. Why do people buy SOS items (I DO understand SOM and SUN), if not to resell them for profit? Aren't these just the same as regular items with +5/? A lvl 24 +5 blade would be much cheaper than a lvl 24 SOS blade, but wouldn't it have the same stats? Only difference I can tell is the SOS glows. Is it just for bragging rights, aka "look at my shiny weapon!"?
I mean I'd love to get some SOS items, but I think I'd rather wait for drops unless there's a benefit to SOS that I don't know about.
Because it's way less easier to +3/+5 a sos, then +8/+10 a normal weapon..
Do not write stupid, when somebody loses.l lik the game myself but my 6jears old kid,who like to play games so much, has refuse to play, bcos of that word.Pls write something abit funny.l hope you consider my suggestion.Thank you and God bless you.
What method I use is to farm up above 10 lvls of my masterys, by then I should have enought sp to update my masteries and do it again. I also farm on greens, so by the time I update my armor and weapons I can afforde an sos or +3 and above armors, accessories and weapons. Also having a gold ticket makes it faster and easer. I do not have the convection to farm at lvl 16 for 4 to 6 months.
I just reread this post and I have to say once again how helpful it is. I keep toying with tthe idea of closing my gap (6 now at 56). I know exactly how many SP I need at the end of my build as well as how many I'll get every level based on my gap, that tells me how many I need to farm (at some point).
Its especially useful when you try to plan on what to farm (you'll have to do it sometime). For example: I farmed at 42 with a 9 gap for about 20k sp because I knew I'd have a really good weapon and be able to grind on red mobs easily. I did the same at 52. Now I know I can reach my goal with a 3 level gap moving forward, or I can close it to 0 until 64, then farm a little more or wait til 70 to farm, and I know almost exactly how much I'll need to farm.
I like math so perhaps that's why I like it so much.
By the way, if I'm putting points in two trees, your sp level is considered as the highest mastery level you have, right? (6 if you have 6 fire 5 blade) I know this is quite a n00b question but I just wanna make sure.
Right. This is wat I asked in the "To Farm or Not To Farm" topic a few days ago. I asked if I'd be OK if I would go through Silkroad with a lvl 5 gap; I don't want to be the best player ever. I want to become pretty strong but I want to have some fun, too. The game is such a bore if you only grind and farm SP and delevel... all day...
After i f-ed up my blade char and didnt sp farm on it enough.. i lvled my nuker and ive kept a 9 lvl gap on it since lvl 9... mad SP.. ill have all the forces maxed and spear.. maybe blade well see what i decide to spend the rest of the sp on

PureSTR blade on venice, @ 35 killed a penon fighter champion, at level 37 killed yetis
Basically, you have to decide what kind of gap you want. There is NO good gap. Any gap will basically work, it's just a matter of how soon you want your skills and how fast you want to level up. I had a friend that hated leveling up slow, and went with a zero gap. He seemed content with his skills and only got what he needed. I, on the otherhand, hate not having skills. I farmed 13k at lvl 16 on another character... and it lasted me til level 34. I started a new character, and plan to get 200k sp. This will take a couple months for me, but once I start leveling, it will be quite fun.
If you don't mind not leveling up, I'd recommend a 9 gap. You're not really getting a lot more sp than you would without a 9 gap, but you get a lot more for your level than you would otherwise.
Hi i hve a lvl 17 pure str blader on mars and i thnk ur right...making a gap at earlier lvls is BORING its better(just my opinion here) to get ur main mastery n 1 sub mastery upto lvl 5(for chinese) and then go on with a 3 gap at low lvls atleast i get to max 3 masteries(maintaining 3 gap of course)and keep 4th one a little lower say 1-3 lvls behind.
Now im a noob at this game and this may change later on but i still get to enjoy good enough skills for my lvl and i can always raise my gap if i need to later on.
+being pure str i found that i can take on lvl 26 mobs(at lvl 17) so that help in lvling xp and sxp alot
Spoiler!
I wouldn't recommend insanity to everyone, but its always worked for me. For me, insanity is super sanity. The normal is psychotic. Normal means lack of imagination, lack of creativity.
