Str or Int

Hey

I currently have a blade(switching to sword)/fire build and I am wondering what to put my stat points on. Currently (lvl 21) it's about 1:1 (66:79) with a tad more INT. Would it be better to go 2:1 INT or 2:1 Strength? At the moment, I'm happy with my charcter's performance, but im sure it's be better to specialise?

Go INT! (especially since your going sword) For a while till you get your magical balance to about 85+ %, and keep it that way. You’ll have good nuking power, and will be able to tank a little more then pure int nukers.

Yes, go INT. Swords are definitely made for INT. Just like spears, they should depend on magical attacks, and are weak with pure STR. You should at least do INT until level 30, and then maybe put a bit of STR...so INT is the way to go.

Ah, right, but what about defense? Curretly Im using protector, so should I stick with that or move to armour for a more hardy defence?

The defense tool isn't really a big deal. Wear the most stylish one!

I, myself, am using protector. If I were you, I would switch to armour. That's because I'm funded, if your not rich, stick with protecter, it's not bad. Especially for INT-users, gives a magical boost along with defence. Armour doesn't give a lot of good bonuses.
