Question about nuker's skills!

Flame Wave Arrow - Do i have to max this skill? Because the FlameWave Burning require only Flame Wave Arrow lvl 1; and then, Flame Wave Wide require only Flame Wave Burning Lvl 1. It means that, in order to learn flame wave burning, we need to add atleast both flamewave arrow and burning lvl 1.

My question is, Is it neccesarily to max out 3 of the books for the flame wave series for a nuker?

Besides, Do we(nukers) have to learn Flame Devil Force?

How about Flame Body Series?

I am new to the game, so i need some guidelines... so that my char won't get messed up!!

Bull, it’s better to get lvl 1 (or higher if you really want to) of book 2 and max out book 1. Since it maxes out at level 18, it’s the fastest and most powerfull nuke in the game. And then get book 3 and up it a bit.

You are *Confused* I’m such agrammar whore.

Look, nuke book 1 is the most powerfull and fastest to cast nuke in the game. Should be obvious that you need to get a decent level on that one. So in the end book 2 does less damage, the only benefit it has over book 1 is the area of effect (people or mobs around the one you are targeting will get burned to). Book 3 has this also, so it’s more logical to use book 1, max it, get level 1 of book 2 (ofcourse you can always level it up if you think needed), and then at level 56 get book 3.

Hmm, I don't think that book1 is more powerful that book2, yes it does cap out at lvl 18 while book2 only has 14 levels, but according to this site (http://sro.mmosite.com/database/skills/fire.shtml), Flame Wave Burning has more damage at lvl 14 than Arrow has at lvl 18. Unless this site is unaccurate, I have no idea where u got the thought that book1 does more damage(correct me if im wrong).

This really depends on how long you are planning to play Silkroad for. If you play until the end game, you can simply farm along the way and max out anything you want. My suggestion, is to listen to Priam. I am a nuker too, except I use lightning. I'm not very familiar with Fire skills, but if I were to choose a nuke, I'd just go with a level 2 book.

Well, for your information, max lvl for :

Flame wave-Arrow - lvl18, require lvl64 masteries - Damage 464~773 (250%)

Flame wave-Burning - lvl 14. require lvl69 masteries - Damage 548~913 (300%)

book2 fire nuke hits harder than book1

on the way to getting Lv1 of book2, you will be putting at least Lv5~Lv7 of book1 so u wont be that much under-powered, by then having both book1 and 2 will make u realize my first sentence... some nuker also mentioned that sometimes you will want to hit only 1 non-aggro with a nuke and book1 is the only way to do it

I have book one at lvl 7 and its not going any higher,

here let me put it this way

right now I am a lvl 50 farming with lvl 43 masteries

today whne i was alchemy farming I was fighting Ujigi's

my 2nd book would almost 1 shot a Ujigi while my 1st book would take a little over half the 2nd book deff hits harder

it also takes a good 3k less sp to max book 2

I'm going with lightning+spear(20) till 43, and then farm at lvl 52 and get book 2 right away (only lvl1 of book1). When I'm farming again at lvl 70 to perfectionalise my build I'll up book 1 because:
- it's the only non-aoe nuke.. can be handy on rare occasions
- it cost less mp.. just for those things you can kill in 1hit anyway

Book 2 has piercing, and is much more powerful than book 1 when maxed. Im staying at lvl 1 book 1, then I'd max book 2 and book 3 if i had sp. Book 3 = good aoe, book 2 = strongest nuke in game.
Nukers really dont need flame body or flame devil, because it adds phys atk bonus and you dont have high phys balance, but if u have a ton of sp and are capped u might as well go ahead and add a bit of those skills. I would get flame body lvl 1 (ups phys atk 3%) just for use before u get ur nukes.
