Character Build

Post by cgy »

Hey guys, Im lvl 17 and my build is

Sword/Shield
Fire

Is that any good? I have right now like 160 skill points which i can use. Should I add another skill? Also I have been using str all the way basically around 1059 and int is around 600. So yeah i want your guys opinion.... this a good build or what?

Also what things should I max and what things should i leave behind.

Thanks so much.

It is a common build, its really hard to say any build is a bad build... because everyone assumes if its not a cookie cutter build... oh it must be crap then. Sound like you got something good going there, i highly suggest switching ur sword for a blade though. Other than that its your character, try to suit him the way you like to play not by a basic cookie cutter build if you dont want to... you will get bored too easily if you do =)

there's a lot of controversy over blade...

but the general opinion is, blade/fire is a good combo.

yes, the force skills to get with blade is a constant battle.

but, as for the weapon skills most are in agreement.

the chain series is basically a must-have deal. common word is to get both the 4-hit and 5-hit series, to use one while the other is cooling down.

the knockdown is useful, but not a must. it helps with KSers, and can be used to throw off a person's rhythm/timing in PvP. just make sure you get the skill to allow you to hit them while they're on the ground if you go for this.

the passive skill is another must-have. what's the point of having a shield if you don't raise the blocking % ?

i don't know too much about the lvl 32 skill, but i hear it's pretty good. may want to hear from someone else on that though.

very last one on the list, it's a lvl 10 skill, and you can raise it again at level 20, 30, etc
