Changing mastery

Post by anas2307 »

Hi, I am lv 33 with wizard mastery lv. 31 and cleric mastery lv 25. However, I decieded to change my main build from wizard to warlock instead. Is it a good idea to level the warlock materies from 0 to 33 now?

Well, you should d-lvl the wizzard mastery, which you can do by doing the 'skill relocation quest' that you can start from every potion seller. Its simple - gather cursed hearts, which drop from all mobs, and for each 10 cursed hearts you can d-lvl one skill only once. But Warlock is kinda hard for a beginner, since you have to change weapons alot, spam many skills and a hard tactic. While the wizzard is simple as 1,2,3 so i decide staying wizzard. Its up to you i helped as i could . :)

Thanks for the answer, yes it is i know it is hard, but the lack of the defence for the wizard is the main problem

as a warlock you won't have much more defence .. you just get the shield bonus (thats why you need sos/som/sosun)and a few stuns, which you can exchange with the frost spells of the wizzard. As a warlock, you do dot(damage over time) which kills mobs slower, but you can kill many mobs at once, but since you wont have a good shield like i said, you will die easily
