New to Silkroad
New to Silkroad
Hey guys I'm new to Silkroad, and I was wondering what is the better race or the race I will have the most fun with? I like pvp a lot, and I love to party play a lot.
But I just have no clue what's a good class to choose or race?!..I want to have a lot of fun. Maybe a techinally harder build or possibly a fun build to party with, that I will never get bored of. PVP and PVE are things I love to do. SO! Any experienced players help would be greatly appreciated
THANKS SO MUCH!

Re: New to Silkroad
First you should try Silkroad Revolution (Sro-R),International Sro is kinda left by Joymax, so you better go to Sro-R which only got released this week with some improvements.
So you won't be too far from other players, both are official clients btw if you are wondering.
2nd, there isn't really a thing such as a "best" race, they might not be 100% balanced but they are close enough
Some common Pvp builds are Warrior/cleric [Euro side], Glaiver [Chinese side].
Bows/Crossbows are fun to play with too and got the highest range in the game but you got to carry arrows which can take too much from the inventory.
Each build got their own unique skills, play style, just play a bit with them and find what you like most.
A few things to know are that when adding most of your skill points to
Pure Int = High magical damage/defence, Relatively Low physical damage/defence, Higher overall damage, Low Hp, High amount of Mp, Criticals don't hit for much more than the normal attacks.
Pure Str= High physical damage/defence, Relatively low physical damage/defence, lower overall damage, High hp, Low Mp, Criticals hit for about twice the damage of normal hits.
Well if you can ask more specific questions of what you want to know.

So in the first week in college i went with jeans and the pajama's shirt. Didn't notice what i was wearing till after i returned home.
Re: New to Silkroad
I wouldn't recommend a harder build right away. Something like Rogue/Warlock or some other PvP build that requires good weapon switching, timing and skill in't good to start with if you're new to SRO. If it's SRO-R you're gonna play, then Glaive/Force would be good i think. If you're thinking about Euro though, then Rogue/Cleric will do good there, you should get into parties with Cleric sub-mastery better aswell.
Re: New to Silkroad

Re: New to Silkroad
Quite sure that only the events will end on 4th january, they could do an inspection/update at 4th of january but that's it.
Good thing that you said that you don't mind grinding, because you will have to grind a lot here if you want to go near the cap :3
Full Strength Glaive is a good build.
