INT-based light\force build

Post by RaiKiRii »

Sword or Bow + Light + Force (the Domino Effect) [int based]

it's based off the Full INT- Sword\Light Character

There are 2 skills in the force tree that most don't know about: those would be Vital-spot muscle and Vital-spot spirit. First though, parry and attack rating.

Parry is your weapon's ability to make your opponent do damage on the lower side of their attack power. Attack rating is your weapon's ability to do damage on the higher side of your attack power. Say your opponent's attack power is 115-135, their parry is at 55, attack rating at 70. Your attack power is 115-135, you parry is 75, and your attack rating is 85. Your opponent, with his parry being lower than your attack rating, will cause you to do dmg thats closer to 135. However, your parry being higher than his attack rating will cause him to do damage that is close to 115

VS muscle lowers your opponent's parry, allowing you to do dmg more to the higher side of your attack. VS spirt lowers your opponent's attack rating, causing him to do less damage to you. If you two are at the same level, it might even lower his attack rating so that it gets below your parry , and voila your opponent is crippled.

This, combined with the electric-shock effect of lightning (which also lowers parry, makes you consistently hit at the top of your attack power), makes you an effective heavy hitter. I'd recommend protector or armor just because you have low HP, being either full or hybrid INT.

Other Skills could include: Blood Blade Force, Flower Bloom Blade for Bicheon Tree OR Devil Bow, Anti-Devil Bow, the bird thing (forget its name, it raises attack rating), and Spirit Bow. Light Tree Maxed and Force Tree .

A super fast killer, AOE effect, will run as fast as a horse at high levels. Low HP isn't too much of a problem. Knockdown will keep opponents from touching you if you're a sword user. If you're a bow user, you have grasswalk to kite and the Lightning Nuke, and Spirit Bow at the top ranges of their potential.

This is what the build would look like but without the force skills.

feel free to leave comments, but PLEASE if its a negative comment at least say why and be constructive about it.
NO FLAMING THIS IS ALL IN MY HEAD AND IS OPINION.

i just learned Vital-spot muscle a couple of days ago. i like it very much. instant casting, like cold wave arrest, and cuts down the parry by 43 for 10 seconds. once i have my force mastery at 37 i can tell you if its worth lvling up or not.
for Vital-spot spirit you just need lvl1 VS muscle so that should be fine :)

I'm currently building my char based around this idea except the only difference is I use a spear, didn't think about the knockdowns with the sword I'll have to try it out later:p

hm mforce is ncie, but its jsut not for me...
the parry and the extra mp dosnt bother me
and past level 30 if your nuking you should be nearly killing before a monster reaches you.. ( probly excludign giants )
besides.. i just plain old like my agressive skills.

ps, what is the AOE effect in this game?
old cgames it was erea of effect? how does thsi make u run as fast as a horse? ... :?

I've been thinking...how much do we need to invest into the Force mastery? Like when you invest into Light it gives an x% dmg bonus but with Force it doesn't give any bonus(or does it?) Just wondering before I set up my SP and end up wasting them when they could be added into the weapon mastery or another element.

mm force gives you more MP, it gives you the power to heal, and revive. TO lowe rparry and attack rating

its more of a buffer kind of skill tree.

I'm going to be investing alot into it because i'm trying to think of my guild and alliance mates at higher levels :)

Same here. I'm building a pure STR/blade/fire/force character, with Grass Walk for speed. I have no idea how I'll ever get enough SP, so I guess I'll be stuck at lvl 30 for a year or so. :P
