Is 1:7 and 1:9 really that different for a hybrid?

I am curious, is the hybrid spear 1:7 and 1:9 really that different?

I mean in 100 levels you add 33 str (1:9) or 42 str ( 1:7). this means that you either have 89% mag or 87% mag...

I don't think that this effects youre damage so significantly, or does it ?

Also with a 1:9 hybrid spear nuker will this build will do for PVE/unique/ NO PVP:
110 heuk
110 light
110 ice

And I guess when going 1:7 hybrid it is better to get fire for more damage? So that would mean:
110 heuk
110 fire
110 ice

But isn't the 60% snow shield really big? I mean wont my MP go to 0 in no time?

Pure Int, as good as maxed int on items, devil spirit, prem+ and I wasn't able to keep up a 60% snow. Well against warriors it was kind of possible because they do hard but slow hits. When you go hybrid I do suggest lightning, even if it's not much. Something like 110 Heuk/Fire with 80/30 or 70/40 Ice/Light masteries.
