Ice / Force bow?

Post by Lyrikk »

Im level 18 right now and am hybrid with moreso into INT. I put my sp to keep my ice enchant up to date, double shot, and some Force abilities such as self heal and rez(thats all for now). First off im wondering what type of armor i should be using... i been going garment lately for the MP bonus. Also id like to know if im even going a good route with Ice / Force... So far, this combo seems to be great for soloing.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Hmm..don't know of anyone who's gone ice force bow...you'd be the first :D

I'd wear protector-you get some of the bonus to speed and mana, and since you're hybrid, you can raise both your defenses equally. With more in INT, later mobs are going to kill you quite fast: Wearing garments, most don mobs did roughly 100 dmg per hit..since I am STR based, it's not an issue, but if you're more int based, getting hit by 2 or 3 could mean death quick.

Also, don' tuse self heal. Ever. Healing hand does more HP for MP, and you can heal others with it. Don't forget to get the ice skills that give you bonuses to defense: every little bit helps. And if you feel like spending SP, lightning's grass walk should be a required skill in ALL builds.

I'm not sure if you plan on getting nukes later on, but if you're int based, you should. They're how int builds do most of their damage. If so you're going to have to raise lightning and fire as well. If not, and you want to use bow skills, raise your strength, as that's how bow skills do their damage. 18 levels isn't too bad for a reroll, but if you're going to do it, do it soon, before you invest too much time into the char.

Ok thanks for your advice, there is a lot i agreed with in there... i like the protector set so i think ill switch to that. As for Healing hand... thanks for the advice, ill stop putting points into self heal, i have healing hand 1 right now. As for grass walk... i did start training in that but didnt feel the need to mention it... so i figured if i was going to start for grass walk, id go on for lightning nukes in the future. For ice defenses , i been going into those as well.... the only ability i dont know if i should get is Ice Wall... any opinions?
