I have maxed it out on my nuker, but do nukers even use it? I mean it increases phy attack power. Which is in my opinio not really needed am I right?

You don't need it.

The last one maxed at 100, reduces your shields phy defence by 83%. The damage you gain as a INT isn't that high. So what you are doing is you taking away about all the phy defence of your shield and gain about nothing. That's like digging your own hole.
