question about % balance(help required)

hi guys i very new to the game and wants to follow the hybrid 8:1 for int...but having trouble understanding it...is 8:1 meaning 8 stats on int, 1 stat in str OR 8 lvls in int, 1 lvl in str?

please help reply thanks guys ^^

lol thats no hybrid but it means: for every 8 stats int is 1 stat str

but if u do 8 lvls int and 1 lvl str u get the same result after 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54 and 63 lvls.

I would suggest to do 1st lvl 3 int, 2nd lvl 3 int, 3rd lvl 2 int and 1 str and so on.
