Best choice for newbie

Hi I am a character on lvl 9, and i have my all skills points [196 ore something]
but what is the best choice? Everbody said: whait for lvl 18, is that ok? And what is the best skill element, fire , ice ..,.??

He is a new player and needs help which build he should chose. He wans't a newbie builld, so a build that's fun to play and not so hard to lvl.

Either go full str (put all points in str ^^) glaiver, does better dmg than blade. Use fire as main force, also lvl the heuksal tree.

Or int hybrid (hybrid means putting 2 points in int and 1 points in str... there are a lot other ways how to make a hybrdi but this is the easier one) , because u will do good in pvp (player vs player) and can lvl pretty fast.

The weapon is your choice, but i preffer spear. Also go for fire and lighting as the most immportant mastery trees and heuksal for heuksal as sub-tree.

If you want to find more detailes about some build or what you should do to make you character better go to the guides section and read some.

sorry for everbody, I fight with a bronze glavie, with no skills. When is the best timing to give skills out? lvl 10, 11 ? 18 ? 70 ?

Welcome to SRF!

You should start with a PURE build (if you want to make an hybrid, you'll be able to do it later in the game)...

First what character do you plan to build?

- tank : low/average damage, great defence & physical skills => the easiest way is to be a glaiver (like said Great Master), you'll be some kind of warrior. So keep glaive as your weapon, and put ALL your stat points into strength RIGHT NOW and keep doing it each time you level up. Check the guide section of the forum for the best skills(fire force the best, soul spear serie, ghost spear serie, physical fire buffs, 'imbue', blah blah)

- nuker : high damage, low defence (few health points) & magical skills (nukes : magical elemental attacks). You will be some kind of wizard. Choose spear (i would fecommend that to a beginner) or sword/shield) and put ALL your stat points into intelligence RIGHT NOW... blah blah. Check the guide section of the forum for skills... blah.. blah

Both are PURE builds (either ALL points to strenght or intelligence).

Hes not asking about the Character points... he's asking about his skill points. And when to use them.

Which ofcourse depends, but i guess since your new you're gonna mess around, try thing out, as you should be. In this case starting to use SP from level 1 is a good thing. Just play around, get the skills that you want. Become stronger, learn about the game. And worrie about the rest later.

Fire mastery lvl 13
uppest = lvl 4
defence shield phoemix = lvl 1
under the shield phoenix = lvl 1
last = lvl 1

so its ok?

ot: read the guides in this subforum to get some insight concerning the char builds that are possible with this game. take a good look at the skills that you either want or need with the weapon ur currently using

I assume you keep the glaive as weapon. OK
I assume you did put all your stat points into Str ?

And you :
Choosed fire : good choice

and the skills below :
- river fire force (lvl 4) : good! keep it up
- fire shield phoenix (lvl 1) : useful mainly for PvP later in the game. Notice you have to wear a shield to cast this skill (unequip glaive / equip shield / cast skill / unequip shield / equip glaive). For leveling your character this skill is not necessary but it's your choice.
- flame body wisdom (lvl 1) : good! keep it up
- flame devil force (lvl 1) : good! keep it up

No other fire skill really needed here.

Now you should also pimp up your heuksal mastery and choose some skills, most people go for :
- Soul spear move : THE main glaiver skill (mastery lvl 14 needed)
- Ghost spear attack serie : good AOE skill (mastery lvl 19 neded).
- Cheolsam force (extra defence : adds some HP).

Before you reach level 14, you can use wolf bite spear or dancing demon spear to help a little killing mobs (as soon as you can get soul spear, stop leveling it).
