Eh...
Warrior ~
More defense, skill wise, than rogue (vital & skins), though has a lower damage output. With Dual Axes, it has a higher resistance to statuses (good for dealing with chinese using cold or other warlock involved builds). It's also better for parties only because of the warrior aspect of it (pt buffs, aggro holding).
Rogue ~
Less defense. Not really a favorite for pt play, though has a higher damage output than warrior (granted they use DD or CE). Not as dependent as warrior / lock on using debuffs to kill. If against cleric using builds, if you use scorn at the right times (single target heals) you can possibly turn the tide of the fight.

Re: cant decide, warrior/lock or rouge/lock
a warrior can tank more but has low dmg
a rogue cant tank for too long but has very high damage
eitherway it will be harder to kill cleric builds ur best bet would be stun, absolute hp leach, reflect and (shadow)armour skills

Re: cant decide, warrior/lock or rouge/lock
i find rogue/lock better than warrior/lock :S
lock gives good skill interruptions so you wouldnt have to worry about being hit as much so once debuffed/stun/sleep then use daggers to kill with a higher chance of killing than using 2h
for the tanking, the rogue damage isnt bad without buffs although not as good as 2hs... but still good, and without buffs, you have same amount of hp as warrior without vital on. if warrior uses skins, just lock stun/sleep until its gone or warrior switches to lock as well...
yes i said 2h>daggers(unbuffed) but daggers can still stun/bleed +xbow for kb/kd. the kd/kb is slower than 2hs but have a higher chance so it evens out. but after you debuff person or kd, daggers will usually kill just as well as 2h. remember you dont have to be hitting 20k crits to win when you can hit a lot of 10-15k on debuffed/stunned people and still win
plus vs cleric subs, rogue can use lock skill (not warlock but the locking thing) and get healed if other person isnt paying attention.

Re: cant decide, warrior/lock or rouge/lock
Depends.
Rogue/warlock really needs to get powerfarmed. Great build in 1on1 pvp, many interupts which are pretty deadly with Desperate dagger. In FW you probably will mainly use rogue skills which means you can get alot of kills in a good party and snipe. However in group pvp this build is way more dependent on a good cleric then warrior/lock. Desperate daggers should be used really wisely otherwise you will died alot.
Warrior/lock, good build for lvling party's. Also one of the best 1on1 builds. In group pvp you can play really defensive with warrior and buff team mates. Or you can deal great dmg combined with great survivability ( especially with a cleric back up), which makes it IMO easier to kill in job wars/group pvp.

It's all about your playing style, and which build you will have the most fun with. Warrior is without doubt the most useful build. It acts as a support char for other Int builds, with skins, fences, PQ, and screens, whereas xbow doesn't have any of these.

The party buffs are nice 'n all...quite vital to a pt's survival
but the rogue / lock doesn't have a shackle on weapon switching ....can constantly cast advanced reflect w/o having to rebuff individuals in the pt (reference to warrior / lock), can debuff ppl w/o holyspell on (again, the whole shackle thing), and scorn / gross scorn are amazingly nice to keep the ints alive...you just need a good cleric.
Their role in the pt is more of a "punching bag" / "sniper"
