xbow/ih

so i was thinking of xbow for solo and 1h warrior for partying
but how would this build fair for jobbing or fort war i mean i know it can pvp and even kill warrior clerics when played right but is it any good otherwise for jobbing and grp pvp and stuff.

otherwise im xbow/bard for now(21 lvl) and will switch to either warrior or cleric sub at lvl 30.
so anybody got some input?

I don't think it's gonna do well for both 1v1 and group PvP. At least not nearly as good as the more conventional builds. There's practically no synergy between xbow and 1h sword skills.

i would go xbow, dagger, 2h. xbow for solo, dagger/2h for pvp. i've never seen a dagger 2h pvp before, but according to someone who has one, they are beast

TOO MUCH sp im mostly going for faster lvling during solo/party play
Besides 1h has massive defense and along with range and dmg of xbow it might be nice depending on my opponent in pvp

1hs is mainly for tanking in PvP, hm...

as for xbow...eh, I don't see the main need for it in PvP (other than for someone far away). To do decent damage, you'll need extreme on and that cuts your hp by 50%(you'll have hp liken to an int) as well as your phy defense by 40%....you'll need luck on your interruption skills if you want to live (75% KB 1x on Intense Shot, 50% KB 1x on Power Shot, and 50% KD 1x on Blast Shot / Hurricane Shot).

You're better off going: 1hs, 2hs, DA (just for stun / bleed), and Daggers.

For Party Play ...you can just be 1hs / 2hs to buff / lure or Rogue to kill / lure...

Group fights....depends largely on if you're buffing others or not ...if you're not, you can just screen people when needed and use your rogue to scorn / kill.

for lvling, all u really need is xbow, put on xe and fight nonaggro mobs that u can 1hit, for pvp, i don't think xbow/1h is really useful, against nukers and wizzes, u would basically trade xbow shots for nukes, either u don't use xe and do much less damage, or use xe and lose hp advantage of being a str char, against melee chars, u would use xbow and hope for kb and if they get close switch to 1h and fight like a warrior without sub cuz xbow wont help u then.
conclusion, if maxing 3 weps is too much sp, don't go warrior/rogue

ya thnk your right gess i'll just go sub cleric then farm a new char l8r if i feel like it....maybe an s/s nuker well thats for a lot la8r tho.
