Fire Shield Series

Okay. I know this was kinda posted in Biggie's (I mean fly's) Guide, but I heard somewhere else that the Fire Shield Series is only useful if you have a shield.

So, if I'm a glavie user, this skill has no use for me?

Because I hear it's very useful against being frozen/burnt/electrified/etc.

The martial art of the Fire Force Mastery to raise the resistance power by infusing he vigor in the shield is the very Flame Shield Technique. This is the martial art created for the Bicheonmun, which had saved the Fire Force Mastery when the Fire Force Mastery had been fallen into the crisis. When accomplishing the revenge against the Devil religion, this defense martial art played an important role to defend the Devil religion, which operated the incantation and witchcraft.

Yaddi yaddi yadda. Says it's created for Bicheonmun. Ack. So no use for Glavie. So STR/Glavie CAN get pwned by an INT Ice.

You can always grab a lvl 1 shield in jangan and keep it in your inventory for when you buff. I don't have Biggie's eq, but if I did, ice would almost never take effect with fire shield/huge ice reduce jewelry.

why would you keep your shield in your inventory?

he meant if you use a 2 handed weapon, you can carry a shield with you. so you can equip the shield, buff yourself and put it back into your inv. enjoying the buff without actually using the shield. same with a bow and that white hawk buff. my only problem is, my inventory is already half full with things i 'have to' carry with me

a question: is this buff really worth it? i mean whatever bad affect catches me, i pill it away that very second. so i dont think reduceing the effect has any use (effect number=the time the effect is harming you. ie: effect 86 means 8,6 seconds. reduceing the effect by 30 means it will end not in 8,6 but in 5,6 seconds (maybe burning has also increased dot and such, im not sure) but im sure scorpions poison lasts 0,1seconds*effectnumber).

i do the same. 150 pills on me at all time if i'm gonna be PvEing mobs w/ status, or PvPing.
