I've started a Wizard/Cleric so that I can plvl my other account and some friends account(s) later on. I've also created it because magic is awesome :o
Anyways, my question is, what is the best way to SP farm for this character?
Right now I'm level 18 with 10.8k (+/- 100) SP and a 9 gap.
Should I do most of it at a low level with a 9 gap (delevel)?
or
Should I take like a 3-4 (5?) gap until 90 then farm the rest after that?
or
(Suggest something)
I was thinking of getting to level 20 then going to a 4 or 5 gap up to 90, however as I was thinking about it, it seemed more practical for me to get the farming done at a lower level.
Even though my main priority for this character is to plvl other accounts, I'd also like to eventually be FF @ a 90 cap (Around 1mil SP according to nivlaM) and use this account for other things such as PvP. Then maybe try and work at being FF @ 100 cap after I get to level 90 (definitely not a main priority right now!)
I appreciate your time and input.
Thanks!

Re: Wizard/Cleric farming question
1st: Your actually trying to get this char to 90? It'd be easier for you if you just got him to level 64. Pfarmed your new char at the ongs and then leveled up that one. This saves time cause you won't have to sp farm much. Since your main goal is to plvl other peoples chars.
2'd: I'd ong farm your wiz char at a low level. If you've got the cash.

Re: Wizard/Cleric farming question
While my main goal is to plvl other chars, I don't want it to be an everyday thing. I just want to be able to have an account that can level up my chars (if I make other ones) and some friends chars (if they make other ones, or another friend starts playing silkroad).
I want to get this character to 90 (maybe higher, haven't put much consideration on trying to go past 90) eventually, so it wont be just for plvling. That's why I have the 9 gap. If I solely planned on using this character just to plvl I wouldn't use a 9 gap. Probably 7 or so.
Right now I've been switching between ongs and just leveling on my own. Only reason I don't stay at ongs is because there's so many people that say 100k/hr then 30 minutes later boot me out saying my time is up and I didn't pay for the next hour, which I refuse to do.
I'm trying to think in the long term. Right now I have some cash for ongs, though I probably don't have enough to get the majority of the SP needed. I'll probably just end up farming until I have a few mill left and then go from there.

Re: Wizard/Cleric farming question
I think wiz/bard would be better for powerlvling, and also requires less sp. If you want to pvp in a group it doesn't matter that you have a bard sub. If you want to pvp 1 v 1 wiz/cleric wouldn't be that great anyhow (compared to e.g. warrior/cleric or warlock/cleric).
As for the sp farming question, probably best to do as much as you can at the lower levels because it's hard to level up a wiz with a 4-5 gap even with cleric sub, unless you have a great set and always train at lower mobs. 2 gap is okay but slow.

Re: Wizard/Cleric farming question
I disagree. With a cleric sub you can ress your fallen plvlees.
Granted you could always get a level 19ish alt with a cleric sub in your plvl to do that. Just saying

Re: Wizard/Cleric farming question
bard is the best plvler.
my buddy was getting 11k sp/hour with 2 bard plvlrs with premium +
without premium + it was like 7.6k or something.
he was set up like this, of course he was botting but still... it was a LOT of sp.. he farmed 1 mil in 26 days with a premium plus.
bard --------------- circle with noobs ----------------- bard

Re: Wizard/Cleric farming question
What's the difference between Bard and Cleric? All I know is they are both support classes and was recommended to take Cleric as sub class. I also see more Wizard/Clerics than Wizard/Bards, why's this? I don't really know much about Bard except that it has some nice speed boost skills.
Re: Wizard/Cleric farming question
The short version is this:
wiz/cleric: Can tank better. Slower
Wiz/bard: Avoids mobs hits but can't tank at all. Faster
