No, tht build is definately for str's. U will not be able to survive long w/o a higher snow shield.

Absolutely. INT's also need all the physical defense they can get, so they need cold.

Up to you until you get to cap or to high levels. Once you get there, you should switch to garment as you have maxed cold, reasons:
-You'll have a good amount of physical defense from cold already;
-Garment has the "best" overall defense (phy defense + mag defense);
-You'll use 20% less MP, which will make it better to sustain a high snow shield (under snow shield you'll be able to tank extremely well);
-Having garment the higher summed defense, once you are at cap and you buy a good set, it's even better, as you'd have also FB and a good amount of HP;
-Generally, people with higher magical damage will deal higher damage even to you being a INT build, so going for garment would further reduce the damage (this doesn't work against euros, as their pure STR's hit very hard, unlike chinese pure STR's who hit sort of low).

At lower levels until (near) cap, armor or protector is better than garment because cold doesn't give that much defense, your equipment will generally be 'weak', and most mobs deal physical damage.

Yes. You get the maximum amount of sp possible with a 9 gap.

+1 If you want to do some real farming, then 9 gap is a must. If not, then you can level with a 4-5 gap or something so you can get enough SP without having to stop leveling and farm. Try calculating it here: http://www.nivlam.com using SP Gap and Chinese SP.
