Some good builds for bladers?

I don't want to go force since the new skills although they come much later in game have debuffs. So what are some good builds?

90 bicheon / 90 fire / 90 lightning is good at jobbing & decent at 1v1
90 bicheon / 90 fire / 90 cold is the best at 1v1 but expensive when jobbing.
90 bicheon / 90 fire / 72 cold / 48 light is a good in-between. It offers both the advantages of cold and lightning.

Bicheon 100/ Fire 100/ x

x= 100 cold for very good tankability.
x= 100 light for maximum damage and speed (!)
x= 80 light and 20 cold for nice speed
and snowshield + very little defense.
x= force for debuffs.

Taking cold for a blader, an already highly defensive build, would be stupid.

The PR Increase you get with lightning, the MAG ATK (essentially your imbue), and the SPEED, beats the cold skills in my opinion. Unless you wanna be an uber PvPer with cold and sacrifice the all around feel of a blader with lightning, you would be wasting a build. Also if i find out who came up with this idea for a build with 20 COLD, ima smash them...

I don't know who first did it, but let me prove you are wrong. Then you can smash me if you still want to.

Taking cold for a blader, an already highly defensive build, would be stupid.

That depends on what you prefer. I could easily say: "Taking lightning for a blader, which is a defensive build, is completely stupid." But, the only real answer for this matter is actually personal preference. Basically, If you want speed and mobility you should go with lightning, if you prefer defense, go cold. As I've recently posted, and I don't want to write it all again:

Lightning advantages for a pure STR:

1. Grass walk;
2. Ghost walk;
3. Parry ratio.

Nothing else as you are a pure STR. The magical attack % buff actually changes nothing.

Cold advantages for a pure STR:

1. Physical defense;
2. Snow shield;
3. Freezing/frostbiting (also with AoE) abilities;
4. If maxed, extra useful imbue;
5. Ice wall.


By the way, note that I'm not saying anywhere that cold is better. Both have it's very own advantages, it's up to the player to decide what he/she needs/wants.

Also, notice that the parry ratio actually changes pretty much nothing.

+1, which makes 100bicheon/100fire/80lightning/20cold superior to 100bicheon/100fire/100lightning. Notice that the difference from 80lightning to 100lightning is pretty much none, while the 20% snow shield from 20 cold changes a whole lot.

In this case I don't think it really depends on personal preference. There really is no point in going 100lightning instead of 80 lightning/20cold as a Pure STR build.

100 Blade / 100 Fire / 80 Light / 20 Ice.

100 Blade / 100 Fire / 72-79 Light / 21-28 Ice would also work.

You need at least 20 Ice for snow shield, and at least 72 Light for the Ghost walk.

73% Grasswalk speed is at 79 Light, I just hate leaving a mastery 1 level short of the passive (no matter how useless)
