Rogue question

Well hey guys i wonder what sub fit best for Rogue in

1: PvE
2: PvP
3: For Group Hunting etc.

Some ppl say Cleric and some warlock
What would be the best ?
I Saw some Vids already of a rogue/warlock.. they do a pretty good job

In general, if you care mostly about 1vs1 pvp, then warlock. If you prefer group hunting/pvp and PvE, cleric.

It'd depend mainly on who has better playing skills and equipment.

Well i thought of Holy Word/Spell or sth like that wouldnt it be a "Safe Ass Skill" against warlocks ?

Cleric seems to have so many usefull skills and Buffs
While warlock have only debuffs
But they have a skill where they suck HP from the enemy right ?
If yes.. is that skill good.. well does it suck much HP ?

Nope, a good warlock can (easily) fight against holy word/spell.

No, not much hp. It's somewhat little. Clerics healing are WAY more effective.

why not bard?
its just a question, im in the same dilema, idk which sub should i use with my 'currently farming' rogue.

1st thought was cleric, i've used a few chars with cleric sub and its pretty helpfull.
warlock is a bit too much for meh, idk its just complicated
bard its awesomely fast and noise works perfect, and that's pretty much it. but why not? also bard is the cheapest mastery to delevel i guess

edit: forgot to mention, im not pvp 1v1 fan anyway, i do some and i have fun but not everytime, im more like helping others, plvling, uniques, and job.

Think you gave your own answer there lol..

Bard sub's just about good for solo grinding, except against giants perhaps, unique hunting, or acting as the bard in a pt (note, you'll only be able to sit around and put up tambours and dances (w/ another bard), heal mp, or do not-as-powerful absolutes)

Warlock sub's good for solo pvp, not as much helpful in group battles (you can stun or put bleed, panic, and death trap (moreso if you get disease on first) on peeps w/ holyspell on....other than that, you'll probably just be scorning people or taking out ints.

Cleric sub's nice for solo grinding (not as much as bard for the speed, but can tank better than a rogue w/ a bard sub), or group pve, but people generally don't search for rogues to fill a spot in a 8/8 pt. Good in 1vs1 and group pvp ... can bless, give buffs, ress, and scorn, or take out ints.

speed, noise,
maybe mp and dances.. but-->optional

contras:
No more tanking ability than without sub
Cleric subbers can tank more, buff others, resssssssss

YOUR A ROGUE GOT THE CRIT AND THE HIGH DMG ALMSOT LIKE A WIZARD JUST ALOT MORE HEALTH I WOULD SAY ROGUE/BARD all the way u have to remember your defense isn't as good as a warrior. you might not have all the time to do the debuffs and stuff and your a rouge you should be a dmg dealer in partys not a healer. Also you will want to be far from enemy when fighting with x-bow so u want to be able to run fast. Friend of mine is a rogue/bard SHE IS BEAST

well noise is more useful than recovery division i think for solo

recovery division can't heal more than you take if lots of mobs are attacking you (unless you fight lower mob)
{ie: mob hits 500 and RD heals ~1500, meaning if more than 3 mobs hit you at once then RD isnt really healing anything because it just goes away, and mobs hit faster than RD heals normally... though if you heal cycle/bless you can fight them but it is troublesome too)
so noises makes it so you fight 1 on 1 and in that case vigor/hp pots are enough

using xbow how often do you even get hit anyways? except on pt mob/champ/giant and then having bless/recovery is only useful if you dont get swarmed by too many mobs at once

since cleric/bard can bind, you can even fight giants without getting hit much, just bind it and shoot (dont use arrow imbue) and the giant unless it has range attacks wont even hit you, you can do same with discord wave/dog on bard

Hm..i think u have time to debuff if ur full str with warlock rod and shield on.
Having a cleric subclass dosen't mean ur a healer, cleric offers a range of buffs that'll help u in solo pve/pvp. Bard can be a pretty useful class for pve, and not a big sp costing one either but for pvp, or u'd get from it is the semi-useful bind and maybe the occasional tambour.
