7:1 Hybrid Spear Questions

Hey guys, I just started to build a hybrid spear and I'm wondering how much STR would I have at lvl 90 if I do a 7:1 build? Does 7:1 mean 1 STR in every 8 lvls or 1 STR for every 8 SP? I'm planning to do a 90 Heuksal/Fire and 60 Ice/Lightning. Would a garment set be better or a protector set? Also, what should my PHY and MAG balance be? I'm on server Venus so if anyone plays on that server, leave your IGN so I can contact you for any questions and so I could buy some powerleveling

well well my advice 4u is 2 change that build...make it 90 heuksal/cold/light and 0 on fire...the last lighting nuke is way stronger than whole fire nukes and u dont need more than 1 nuke anyway cuz u'll use heuksal skills



and about the points...if its 7:1 u have 2 add the first 10 lvls on str and res 'till 90 on int or in other words u have to add 30 points on str and rest on mana...my advice at this again..make them 60 points on str...way better for an hybrid ^^

You completely misunderstood what 7:1 hybrid int means. The meaning is exactly this: 7int:1str hybrid int. So, each 7 int points you add, you'd need to add 1str. At lvl 90 with a 1:7 hybrid int build, you'd have 15 lvls of str, so 45 points into str (each lvl you have 3 points). I hope it's clearer now. I think you'd do better with a protector set with those masteries (90heuksal/90fire/60cold/60light), though I'd say you should go with 1:7 hybrid int 90heuksal/90cold/90lightning with garment. With a 7:1 hybrid int, your balances would be, naked, 85% mag balance and 59% phy balance at lvl 90.

Ehh, 7:1 hyb has 33 extra str points on 90, not 45(which is 5:1 actually).

Yup, you are right. It's 33 points of STR or 11 lvls of STR. Thanks for correcting that, I didn't notice my mistake. And, well, the balances of a 1:7 hybrid int are 87-88% mag balance and 57% phy balance, not 85%/59% as I've stated in my last post. I confused 1:5 hybrid int stats with 1:7 hybrid int. Sorry for the mistake.

Each time you level up you receive 3 points that you can arrange on STR or INT. Is that clear? You'll level up 89 times from lvl 1 to 90 (you understand this? level 1-2-3-4...-90 = 89 level ups?). You'd then have 267 points to arrange (89x3=267). With a 1:7 hybrid int, you'd then put 33 of these 267 into STR, because 267/8=33. I divided it by 8 because each 8 points you add, one of them will be STR (this is logic, 1:7 hybrid int [1str:7int]). You'll have then, 267/8=33.375; 33.375x7=233.625; so you'll have approx. 234 int points. I'm using logic most of the time. To prove this you can simply go to http://bobtheveg.dyndns.org/sroprofile/ and level up till 90, then add 7 int points, then 1 str point, 7 int points, 1 str point.... until you have no points left. You'll probably get pretty close to what I said (33str/234int arranged).

Cuz at lvl 1 you start with 20. Lvl up 89 times = 109 STR
109+33 = 142.
