On asura cut blade lvl 90 stab it says Critical 5 increase excluively use or w/e what does that mean exactly?

weapon crit + 5 crit while stabbing
so lets say c11 blade = c16 while stabbing

Exclusive use means you can ONLY use it when the enemy is knocked down.

Critical 5 increase means that both of the stabs will be more likely to crit. So if normally 20/100 were crits, now 25/100 would crit.

I thought that it only increased the chances of hitting a higher crit...

I think the crit increase a skill gives you is not to be compared with the crit value on a weapon. lets say you use a bow with crit 2 and the last book of anti devil, which has a crit increase of 40. It doesn't mean you have 42 crit in general. I bet you crit with a 0 crit skill and a crit 20 weapon more than with that bow and the anti devil skill. In my opinion the crit increase of a skill is somehow to multiply with a certain factor with the crit value of the weapon.

This doesn't make sense. This contradicts empirical evidences. It this is true, then a bow with crit 3 and let's say anti devil with crit 40 increase would crit as much as a bow with crit 8 and anti devil 35 crit increase. But you will observe that you crit much more with the 2nd setup.

Don't know if this is clear enough but the crit increase in a skill is only applied when using that skill. And I believe it does sum up to the weapon and I think it does make sense seeing the increasing crit effect will only 'work' with the skills which has it.

What raphaell is saying is true lol...When you use the lvl 90 Anti devil it'll be like you're doing that skill with a crit 50 bow if you have c10 on your bow. When you use explosion arrow after that the crit is back to 10. So I don't know what you're talking about?
