PURE STR GLAIVE LVL 46 - HYBRID OR NOT?

Post by TrialsLife »

At the moment my char is a lvl 46 pure str Glaiver. Aiming for 90 heskual, 90 fire, 72 cold and 48 light

With the high defense offered by cold, including the snow sheild, would it be a wise idea to start putting some stat points into int as I level.

Would a STR 3:1 INT ratio work? I'd loose some STR but that should be made up by my high cold skills and snow sheild. Would it mean I would hit a little harder?

I think for a 3:1 ratio I would have to put all of my stat points into INT up until lvl 76. Then from there keep putting it into STR until 90 for a 3:1.

Hope that made some sense,

Someone let me know if its a good idea,

Thanks.

Not a wise idea to add int.
Pure Str all the way, you won't have to worry about messing up, because pure builds can't be messed up.
Some hybrids are weak. Str hybrids<Int hybrids
All Int hybrids should be at least a 1:5 ratio for various reasons.
Str hybrids are nearly non-existent.

Cheers.

Next question, should I stick with this char. Or should I go back to my lvl 62 Hybrid Int Sword and Sheild?

Hybrid STRs aren't bad at all -.-

If well made they do more damage, the crit is just a lil bit lower (since you're hib. str and not int) the con would be the HP lost, but since you are glavier you won't lose that much.
Currently on EliteSRO

Rogue lvl 5x
Warlock lvl 1x

i've seen quite a few str hyb glaviers / bowers / bladers and they do it pretty good, mostly 90% phy. bal naked.

but like most of guys said, it will be useless if dont max light. otherwise i dont see the point.

If you make it right you can archieve a 100/60 balance. Hybrid IS better as pure STR but you need to make sure that your gear has everything 6 INT+STR also Farking up just 1 point will destroy you build :/ Take the risk or stay pure STR.
