Here's my uber full int. spear char skill layout. Need HELP!

Full Int Fire/Lighting Spear Skill Layout
Armor: Garment lvl 1-50, Protector/Armor lvl 50-xx

Spear:
1. Blade Series – Only first book lvl 1.
2. Bloody Series - None
3. Heuksal AOE Series - None
4. Soul Spear – Only first book lvl 1. Should I go more?
5. Ghost Spear – Only first book lvl 1. Should I go more?
6. Chain Attacks – Maybe only lvl1 in first book? or save SP?
7. Flying Dragon – None.
8. Passive - Max

Fire:
1. Imbue- Max all 4 books.
2. Fire Shield – How much should I put in here? Which books?
3. Flame Body – None.
4. Fire Protection - How much should I put in here? Which books?
5. Fire Wall – None.
6. Flame Wave – Max all 3 books or just book 1 and 3?
7. Passive – None.

Light:
1. Imbue – None.
2. Pierce Force – Max all 4 books.
3. Wind Walk – Max all 3 books.
4. Lion Shout – Should I max only the 3rd book?
5. Concentration – Only max 3rd book.
6. Thunderbolt - Max all 2 books.

Ok im a lvl 32 pure int sword shield so i cant tell ya about the spear skills but the rest i cant DONT Take garnement till lvl 50
take armor and then behond that take what ever you like



Fire:
1. Imbue- Max all 4 books.
2. Fire Shield – I have the second book at lv 1 now and i notice alot diference so yea lvl it
3. Flame Body – None.
4. Fire Protection - id say max al books cuz the last one look cool ^^and mag def is important
5. Fire Wall – None.
6. Flame Wave – dont max al 3 books only get first book and up it until you can get the second book same goes for the third book
7. Passive – None.

Light:
1. Imbue – None.
2. Pierce Force – Max all 4 books.
3. Wind Walk – Max all 3 books.
4. Lion Shout – max al books its a great finisher liek me i do nuke BOOM lion shout and their dead !! so id say max it

Bryan, why not garments? I won't be doing any PvP or anything early level, I like the speed boost and willing to spend few more HP potions.

FW: Depends. Book 2 is THE PvE skill. Book 1 is your PvP skill. Book 3 does less dmg but hits more targets if they're close together.
LS: Depends if you want it. Since you don't have another ranged skill, youmight as well max it.

I wouldn't take garment since as a pure spear, you're going to have difficulty at higher levels. Even wearing protector, when I originally started on mujigis, a giant could one hit me if he crit the overhand attack. Since you'll want to be levelling on thigns that you can one or two hit, you don't want to risk that they can kill you. Go protector if you want, but know if you plan on PvPing or trading, pure strs will likely own you.

I thought LS was a close range, almost like a melee skill? No?
And how is LS's damage compared to Flame Wave series and Thunbolt series?

Should I even bother with second books with Spear? I thought by lvl30 you can just use ur thunder and fire nukes.

2nd book fire is teh uber nuke , it dus more damage than book 3 , book 3 is a aoe attack , aoe attacks hit more things ,but for less damage

just becouse a skill is higher in line dusnt mean it actualy dus more damage , dont stop maxing book 2 EVER!!!!
and well forget about book 1 fire nuke , 1 point is all you need to get to book2 , and thants more than enuf to get to lvl 43 and get book2 witch is teh uber nuke !! than if you got sp left over , max book 3

Spear Skills = good for PvP, not as good for PvE, except Ghost Spear which pwns.

I wouldn't bother with soul spear or chain, because they take too much time to implement. Your most damaging skill is the nuke, and the only reason you use other skills is due to its charging time. Following this logic, you want quick secondary attacking skills. I would either pick lion shout or ghost spear to max but not both.

3rd book Soul Spear is faster than a nuke, and still does a lot of damage. It stuns, which REALLY helps a nuker out in PvP.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that yes, it is faster than a nuke, but not by much... and the stun effect is a relative small percentage.

I would like to say lion shout for the reasoning you just stated, but since I'm not in the position of having maxed both, I can't say for sure which one is better.

Just get level 1 Ghost Spear, I suppose. And don't max 3rd book Soul Spear. Just get it to 3rd book, then leave it at 1. Lion Shout is optional. Flying Dragon is stronger.

The main reason why I suggest lion shout is that it has a very fast cast time as well as a quick recharge rate. Flying Dragon is much slower in both, approximately around the time of the 1st book of fire nuke.

max all 3 books of lion shout.

ghost spear is good. most of the time when i grind i just nuke + spin. its fast and easy.

i nvr got flying dragon and nvr needed it.

just nuke + shout + spin and u should be good.

EDIT: for pvp i recommend going s/s. ur a pure int, u cant take on a str. all u should do is nuke nuke nuke. but then again, play ur style and what ur comfortable with.

Spear is also a viable choice though. If you have enough hp added in your 60s, and you have high Heuksal, you can be a devastating 1v1.

isent ( nuke + nuke +lion ) the way to go or just ( nuke + nuke ) why use spear skills when you are a pure int anyway? whont you do the highest damage whith the nukes.
