SPEAR OR SWORD AND SHEILD? for nuker?

i like spear ... i was plann to train light to speed train multi targets... and ice to freeze opponets to heal or defend my self and ofcourse train force....but i was just gona forget about fire i dont no why fire is important i no its hard hitin but light is almost as good...


what u guys think shud i choose to weild spear for more magical damage? iam plann to farcast with bolts not get close when training so i dont need sheild or sword i just need spear right? what u think?

get both
u could use spear for regular mobs and switch to S/S for a giant or pty for better tanking

s/s for pvp, in pve buy a nice spear.

Just get s/s. No point carrying a bunch of wep unless you have tie. I know friends that lost their sox cuz they thought it would be fun to carry it with them. When you die there's a small chance something from your inventory will drop too.

Since you're Pure Force, you will def need s/s. Once snow runs out, you will have to pray ironwall and block to save your life.

so iam suppost to lvl up all sword skills with light/ice/force right

iam not going to train both spear and sword skills cause maybe of sp shortages

No... at most have sword at 30. You will only have enough sp for 3 things at lvl 100. So if you want to be a pure force nuker, you will have to give up wep. Ice, light, force. If you want to keep all force only, than i'd say get spear and a shield for blocks if you can afford it. I forgot you wanted to be pure force. Ice, light, force max is already 270/300. If you are afraid of dying, use s/s to have max def at all time. If you are good and risky, get spear to hit harder and a good shield with high BR to fight.

id say go spear for pve and sword for pvp
if your smart you wont get attacked being a nuker and if gaint comes snowsheild

s/s and if you got a sun spear just use the spear. coz if yo die you can drop the weapons/items in your inventory

Well I guess since you are force nuker the other skills won't matter. imo spear's damage isn't a lot higher than sword's, but when you are killing mobs that can't touch you, spear might let you go to higher level mobs. maybe grind with spear to cap, then get sword for group pvp.

true ... but that little more dmg, ie ~10% more than sword, can mean u could 1nuke KO mobs easier. however, the little more dmg of spear over sword doesnt seem worth the sacrifice of a shield. level up sword. train/hunt with spear.
