[Q] What is the lowest level for a Wizard to 1 hit a PT Ong?

Hi All,

I'm curious which is that level when a pure INT, 0 gap wizard can kill a party Ong by 1 skill w/o cleric buffs, zerk, silk items, etc. I guess at level 60 it is possible with the new nukes, but can it be real at lower levels? I noticed a level 50 wizard can kill very fast there and gets item dropps plus nice amount of gold, but the one - who was in my party - could not grind on skill per mob speed.

Can a level 52 wizard kill a party Ong by one hit/skill with a SOS d7 staff in hands? Or the nukes at level 60 are necessary to do that?

Probably someone has already tested it, please share the info with me.

72+ to 1 hit pt Ong with lowest attack power skill ( Chain Lightning ) . I assume this skill is maxed at your level

with the lvl 20 earth nuke probably...

pure int s/s can 1 shot pt ongs at 68 or so, I guess a lvl64 wizard could without life control in that case.

The Lv. 50 wizard I was talking about is not me. I usually make pwfarm at ongs on my friend's Lv. 76 wizard, which does not get dropps/gold at all. While I was in the Lv. 50 dude's shared party (1 hour) I got 6 dropps plus 80k gold, that's why I would like to build a Wizard which can kill by 1 hit and still get dropps/gold from Ongs.

It seems better if I develop Wizard mastery on my Lv. 57 Cleric instead of make a Lv. 52 Wizard and buy SOS D7 staff. Maybe with life control on and with 60+5 staff in hands I'll be able to kill PT ong by 1 hit... but I guess as Lv. 60 I would not get dropps/gold.

Well, a friend of me has a lv52+3 staff, and can't one hit a pt ongs as far as I know.
Also, he cant use life control without cleric buffs

I had a 60 wizard with about 45 int on my set and I one hit a pt ong but that's with a 60+3 staff. My fire nukes and earth nukes one hit them. Hope that helped.

Yes it helped much, you confirmed with your own experience what I supposed. I guessed the same, at Lv.60 with new nukes and good sets a wizzy can 1 hit a PT ong but it does not get any dropp. At Lv. 52 it gets tons of items and nice amount of gold, but needs more than 1 skill per kill.

60 with a 60+5 staff. also i got pwlv for a 58 wizzy and we always got drops =D even i got a sos harp 32

60 with a +3 staff.

U 1 hit pt ongs with meteor nearly 100%, about 80-90% chance to 1 hit with earth AOE, and about 60% with firebolt and frozen spear.

I 1hitted them with my lvl 60 wizard with 60 +5 staff and loads of int on my clothes with fire bolt and frozen spear. I think lvl 60 is the minimum lvl, or u have to equip a som/sun staff lvl 52.
