Pure int s/s nuker question!

Since im going 90 light,ice,bich and 30 fire, is it worth getting the ice nukes for pve? I'd have to farm another 70k sp just to get all of it maxed. Thanks in advance.

well, it's not that worth but the nukes can freeze or frosbite mobs, like the second book of the ice nuke which have those effects and can attack up to 5 mobs, u can use when u get mobbed, but the first book i think it's not worth to get..... my opinion is don't get the first book, get the second one, u can use ur fire nuke till 50 when u get the second book of the light nuke....it is kinda weak but OK....and u can also use ur weapon skills...

I would just get the "Ice Rain" maxed.
Double shot is just weak (I know, cause i have it - wasted sp - )
So take: lvl 1 - max(18) - not - max(1) = 33 370 sp

Double shot is bad, Ice rain isn't. I wasted SP on double shot, and kept ice rain low, while what I should have done was level ice rain, and leave the non-AoE ice nuke @ level 1.

the rain one is not bad and looks cool i nuke like 26k w/ my light nuke on lvl 87 mob and like 22k w/ my ice rain nuke

Nope totaly not worth getting any ice nukes for pve, they are extremely weak. The only reason to get the ice nukes is to be a completeist like me and coz 90 ice rain looks pretty Thats the only reason i got it. If you grind just nukes the 2 thunderbolts and lion shout is all you need, I grind with nukes and sword skills typhoon sword dance is very nice (I like this better than lion shout).

*edit* one other reason to get it: thats for nuking warlocks while your inside icewall as it has a longer range. Will be lucky to kill a fully farmed warlock with ice nukes though.

yup ice rain is good, if u hv typhoon sword dance too, juz do sword dance, 85 light nuke, 90 light nuke, 90 ice rain, + maybe even lionshout

so many AOE to work with

You may wish to skill the 1st ice nuke until lvl50, once you have both thunderbolts and rain, it is pretty usless and you could prolly dlvl it as 2-3 lion shouts or sword dance have the same effect.

yes ice rain is good and its worth to max it, it will help you a lot in grinding and show off.

Does double shot hit twice or have AoE? Cause it seems that mmosite has the description messed up saying it has AoE . Also, is it true that it's weaker than ice rain at all equivalent lvls?

no only the second and fourth book are aoe so leave first and thrid book waste sp only

lvl 90 ice nuke called snowstorm multishot actually does good damage for snow. 16k on sniper when light nuke did 18k. so its the best.
