3str:1int Ratio..isit good..or pure str is betteR?
this is referring the the fire/blade build..
by evening out your points to make them 3:1..... that just means you have to
actually think instead of clicking the same buttons over and over again.
but anyways, if you plan on doing a 3:1 build, it basically IS a pure build.
even by going pure str, you won't get to a 3:1 ratio until level 41(your stats
will be 180/60), all because they automatically give you 1 point for int and str
each level, it takes longer to get a higher ratio like that. it's not like other
games where your stats start at under 10 and don't rise unless you want
them to.

Hm... imo, if you're going to go STR, you may as well go pure STR (4:1). As I mentioned elsewhere, there are two reasons to place STR: To increase damage and increase HP. However, there's only one reason to increase INT: To increase elemental damage. You can pot from zero mana, but you can't pot from zero HP. Sure, it's more expensive to use pots all the time, but that's the price you pay for being either type of pure. But even if a pure STR runs out of Mana, he/she can still do damage. The same is not true of a pure INT who runs out of HP.

well if you do good under pressure, go for int. But if you already started on strength, go full strength. You'll kill slower, but won't die as fast. You will have almost 4 times the hp of pure int when your lvl is really high, while pure ints only hit twice as much as pure strength. I wish I had chosen pure int though. They kill so fast! I wish I could just nuke everyone and run off laughing maniacally...
OMG! STRIKE FREEDOM! ;0

IMHO, building hybrid character is never a good idea. Yeah, I agree you can do good damage for both physic and magic. But that applies only when you PvE, aka fast hunt.
I pick only Pure INT or STR. Good survival for STR, good killing for INT. lol

A reason why SRO never improved, it came from our beloved SRO seniors.
