Bleed Question

I know that bleed lowers physical/magical defense and does damage. The question is that damage based on a fixed value or a % of total HP

Its fixed per lvl afaik, like bleed lvl1 is -100 defense, that is how I belive it works anyway, could be wrong how ever.
