Pure Str Blade vs. Pure Int Spear

Which one do you like? Overall (PVP, Jobbing, Leveling)

For leveling and cape pvp id go with int spear, the light nukes and ghost spear make it lvl hell quick and you can still tank pretty well with 50% snow shield

For jobbing id take a blader reason is that as a hunter you can hold up and tank maybe 3-4 thieves while support is on the way, or if your a trader and off ya mount you can tank all the spawns. Again if your a thief you can go straight for the transfport without worrying about dieing

For leveling int spear is going to be obviously faster but blade looks super cool and I personally think its better in pvp...

Your comparing the best tanker and lowest damage dealer with the best damage dealer and worst tanker. You want the one with the most pros or the least amount of cons?

I go for Pure str blader ---> Pvp, jobbing, looks cooler...
but Pure int spear ---> much faster lvling, uniques if you have a tank

So you have to choose wath do you like the most survive or hitter...

if ur more of a pvp person then go blader to tank and do 5 vs u

blader is the slowest lvler from chinese :banghead:

and is the fastest lvler from chinese

note that ull only Own in pvp wen u have snow on witch is 2 mins

STR blader any day!

not because of cons or pros... but simply i've always liked them for their flasy moves
if it's pros and cons.. they are way too different..

one can simply out tank the other out of snow shield... and they'll go down :S
one can keep up the KB and STUN to out tank... then bring out heavy attack to take opponents down..

but bladers all the way for me

Pure INT Spear - Leveling

Highest Chinese Damage Dealer
Pure STR Blader - PvP

Can tank and debuff FTK [For The Kill!]
Pure STR Blader - Jobbing

Even with snow on, a Pure INT Spear user will die because it's MP would not be able to take the amount of damage done by numerous amounts of opponents, while a blader can activate snow (If Ice is at 20 or higher) and run around tanking everyone.

I see all this people saying Spear for leveling.. what is the point of leveling if according to you all Spear is not right for Pvp?

everything else they are pretty useful
say for example
-you kill fast
-uniques kills
-jobbing
-fortress wars

I'm not going to argue with you about how spears arent good for pvp since I have not played mine at cap 90 yet, though I'm sure it only improved since 80 I just got no proof to back me up. But Im pretty sure there wasn't many chinese even overgeared that could take me at 80 cap. I remember beating glaviers with 5 sun garment pieces with a +9 spear.

Actually I can say Pure INT Spear is weaker. I am a level 87 2 gapped (99 % of skills at 81 but I got the 85 knockdown) blader with a +4/5 protector set missing about 10-12 Str and 8-10 Int and I fought a Pure INT Spear nuker 90 with 5 gap who happens to be protector as well with +5 FB set and I beat him 4-1. That one time I lagged real bad but I hate people who give excuses so GG to him. He knew how to pvp too since he got me low a couple of times. Pure INT Spear is not the build it used to be. It's become a fast leveling method in order to switch to sword and shield at later levels.

k thanx guys i've made my decision i'll probably go with blader seeing as how I dont mind the leveling speed and I want a good pvp char and I might as well go blader

Just to let you know in advance, you won't really shine until you get Flying Stone Smash (Level 71) and Lightning Chain (Level 73).

at 80 cap you could have a 80/80/80/60 build
that really benefits any nuker
now its only 90/90/90/30
i have yet to see a good spear since 90 cap
