Average Party Level

Post by Mefra »

Hey guys,

I read somewhere that when the average party level is below the level of the mobs you attack, that you get double the exp/sp for party mobs. Now I tried this out with a 3 man party and it didn't work. Then I tried it out with a 4 man party and then it did work. Does this mean that you'll need at least a 4 man party to make this work?

Can anyone confirm this?

You can do this with as little as 2 people. If theres a level 90, and a level 1, grinding on lvl 87 mobs, then the lvl 90 will recieve 100% exp/sp.

Are you sure you was in a exp share party, and not a exp dist? ^^

It's supposed to work if the average pt level is below the level of the mob. Maybe you just calculated wrong, or something? :P

Only for pt mobs, in which case you will get 8x exp of a normal mob. Though they have 10x hp and do more damage so its hardly worth it to add a level one to a party when you solo.
