Fastest Leveling Solo Build

i would say for euro (xbow)rogue/bard, and for china pure int nuker! or maybe pure str bow!

Rogue/bard or pure Rogue
If you go pure rogue and only take the xbow skills, you can 0gap to cap, if you take xbow+bard you can take 2gap I think.

Same Opinion .. the Xbow Range is Awesome ..

with KB and KD u almost dnt get a single hit

I've already explained this once in this thread... Reading the thread should help clear everything up...

Anyway, I'm still undecided. I'm considering these builds listed from 1-4, 4 being lowest but there all pretty close, based on how attractive of a choice they are to me.

1. Full Int/Hybrid Spear/Light/Ice
2. Rogue/Bard
3. Full Str Glaive
4. Hybrid Str Bow

The reason I'm unsure or hesitating to make a decision for each is...

1. Light nukes range is short and grinding on one nuke for 23 or w/e levels isn't that great imo.

2. Rogue/Bards die from party mobs and giants at low levels. The worst part for me is breaking past Lvl 40 with a character because 30-40 have shitty leveling spots.

3. Glaive is smooth grinder without many disadvantages but I feel like it levels slow. Also idk any good places to farm aside from penons.

4. Arrows are annoying and a limitation on how long I can grind. They take up space in my inventory and cost money. Quivers still aren't refillable(Joymax really needs to make that a feature on quivers...). Idk where to farm besides penons with bow too.

Can anyone give me advice or solutions on how to deal with the problems with these builds? I'll prob make my decision on the build with the least amount of weaknesses.

1: you could go with 90 heuskal 90 fire 60 light 60 ice or any combination with light and ice. this way u have fire nukes instead but also have the speed mag dmg boost and u still have snow shield.

2:you forgot that xbows needs bolts just like the bow needs arrows, nice thing about xbow is the crazy range so lvls 30-40 should be a bit better since u dont have to run so much to kill a mob

3:dont know much about glavies cant really help u there.

4:well you can buy enough potions+arrows for a decent to a long grinding time without having to go back maybe not as long as other builds but decently long. farming places viewtopic.php?f=2&t=99066 <--good topic on that

Somewhere between my typing and posting it got lost where I said that Bolts aren't bad cuz you don't need nearly as many on a Rogue... Anyhow, I think I'm gonna go Glavie or Bow just talkin to some people privately about the 2 now. Thanks everyone.

full str rogue xbow only is fast. can get bard sub for the speed. but like chinese archers, need space for bolts.

for chinese, just pure int light and nothing else. i personally prefer this. i have tried a few times to make a pure int light but failed ... because leveled too fast at lower levels and ended up farming sp and leveling up ice and some weapon skills ...

Fastest euro build I ever had was a euro xbow/1H

You don't need speed, just go in places with high spawn rate and kill everything around you. If a giant or party shows up, switch to 1H. Xbow extreme practically the whole time on orange mobs.

thats the main reason they lvl so fast, because a wizard has much less life, so they tend to grind on weaker monster clusters..

euro xbow is the FASTEST hands down...if you are soloing

if not a full hardcore 8man euro party is better...got to lvl 80 in about 45 days

Bower uses more arrows to kill a mob, while a rogue only needs 2-3..

Chinese also dont die when confronted with 2-3 party mobs of the same lvl when they are solo, I'm going to say pure int bow for max lvling speed with just light and pach tree and a little ice for snow.

Int bow? No way.. what's the point when nukes are long ranged anyways? Spear int would be
faster, more damage.. But still chinese need to much SP, unless you go only light with
ocassional ice skills then go euro, pure rouge or wizard.. Wizards die easy if you think
you can fight things you cant..

I've managed to fill my account with characters so atm I'm using Rogue/Bard while I delete the others. But I still get that problem where I get killed by giants more this time though by party mobs. What mobs should I grind at what level from 30-40 cuz I keep getting demolished by Ong, Yeowa and Bandit Bow/Robber giants. There are way to many giants spawning for me on those mobs.

Anyone have any advice on Rogue only? I'm thinking about doing that so I can 0 gap and farm Cleric at a few places along the way.

With 100%+ mag balance every bow skill has = dmg to a nuke with longer range and faster casting time, not to mention there are crits to.
