90 cap str bow

Well... to start off... I'm a huge fan of chinese bow, and str bow is my main character. Personally, I'm maxing Pach, Light, and Fire until caps force me to delevel. (Keeping 20 Cold the whole time for 20% Snow Shield). At end game (if I'm still around), I will be Pach/Light. Why Light? I have many reasons. 1: I'm a speed hog, the faster I can grind, the better. 2: Bow has AR skills and passive, and Light compliments that with PR skills and passive (seems like they are two sides of the same coin to me). 3: As nightcrystal mentioned, people aim to take out bowmen when possible, without Ghostwalk, you are a sitting duck (considering in most group fights almost everyone will have Bard speed buff).
@Anjie: I believe one of the Chinese strengths is their ability to compensate for their weak points (which is much harder for Euros). Example: Ints can have Cold for PDef and a periodical tanking skill. Strs can have Fire for MDef and +%PDmg. Ints can wear armor for further increases in PDef, Strs can wear garms for MDef and less mana usuage (Yes, I'm sure you know all of this). I will agree that as a Bower with Cold, you will seriously hurt people who aren't immune. However, considering the fact that Clerics can make the whole party immune with Holy Word... and the fact that almost every Chinese can be immune with Fire Shield... It seems like a waste of 90 masteries to me. If you really want more PDef, wear armor lol. As for how light makes you kill faster. Uh... Piercing Force? Light gives you more dmg buffs than Cold does (none whatsoever).
@D4yw4lk3r: 90 Masteries for one skill series? Not for me, sorry. Division really doesn't add as much damage as you would hope (Bich chains division lvl 8 on a mob adds like 10-20% damage for me, so yea, no). Lowest lvl Ghostwalk is a joke... Seriously... Have you even used it? Pathetic.

Edit: Forgot to meantion something else. I have 20% Snow Shield and sometimes (very rarely) I do run out of MP (usually happens when I am tanking more than 4 or 5 PT Mages. I have 8.1k MP (keep in mind I'm still using large pots ).

Edit2: @Braka: Imho, 50 Cold isn't worth it. I'm 76 and I have 810 Pdef, 30 more levels into Cold translates roughly into +4.4% PDef for me. I am wearing garms also. At 90, the +PDef will be even less than 4% probably. So, I really don't think its worth those 30 masteries. But that's just my opinion.

90 is going to bring Division for Force so my advice would be

Force: 90
Pacheon: 90
Fire: 88
Lightning: 32 (lowest ghost walk should be a must!)

those 10 meters isn't going to save you, neither the (what is it, 30% grasswalk or something?)

Chinese shouldn't take the force three, euro's are way more effective with ****/cleric

oO i dont think u know the 90 passive + buff of ice. Thats 132+132= 266.
That will be more than ur less than 4%. Close to 12-15% if you are wearing garments (assuming u will have 1.5k phy def at 90 cap).
But personally ice isnt worth that much for str based char, since they get alot of phy def of the phy reinforce of their gear.

um all i can say is this is a pure fail build ok ice 90 for wat if u already pure str and if u getting 90ice for snow shield u are a even bigger idiot the most a pure str needs is 20 ice or 30 ice for 90 cap

I sure as **** hope you have tried a level 90 full farmed bowman with both Ice and Light to so enthusiastically expell Ice as being useless.

My Bow char:

Level 80 Full farmed Pure Str

-80 Pacheon
-80 Fire
-80 Ice <-- yes... ICE
-60 Light

And at 90 cap I'll be 90 Pacheon/Fire/Ice... 30 Light

If you have a good build and gears you shouldn't need to run away from anything. In the time you ghost walked away you could've easily finished a 5 arrow combo and knocked them back. Wanna run faster? Buy the speed drugs and out run anyone who uses max light + ghost walk. Who goes for the bowman first in a group fight I mean honestly... If they were smart they'd go for the harder hitters like wizards/Rogues

Have your oppinions fine.. but I sure hope you've tried them both before you can so blatently pass something off as a waste such as 'ineedhelp' has.

90 ice is too much even if you have lvl 90 ice with lvl 20 snow the deffence from pro can be just as good the parry from light is far better
