I have a Question about Bleed and Division

I was wondering in what way does Bleed and Division reduce defence? In a percentage, or a base number. Like is it either *Reduce targets defence by 50% or reduce it by like...500 defence.* I was just wondering

It's AFAIK, so don't flame if incorrect pls!

Bleed: causes Damage Over Time (often reffered as DoT). It's similar like burnt status, but it cannot be cured with universal pills.

I don't know much about Division, but it might reduce it by base number if you got what I mean.

I really don't know, but since I pill off both bleed/division 99% of the times I don't really cared.

idk but it is a real pain when you are in pvp. or even when the npc euro-thieves bleed you. it makes on you @ 300 each 5 segs i think or also can be +300 each time than the npc hit you .I just wonder the % of impotent or division coz it really makes the diference when and when you`re not on division status

Thanks for the attempts to answering. I guess its unknown, But I'll try and find out the answer for all of us, and yeah, it'd make a diffrence to me and well...all of us if I knew which one it was, since it'd tell us what exactly is going on. I'm sort of thinking its decreased percentage-wise. It'd probably be the most...uhhh what's the term...easiest? Way to do it. Because think about it this way, if it Really DID take away 500, which by all means is a lot. Then what if a low level euro inficts bleed or division on another low lvl, that'd completley whipe out their defence. So my best guesses are either, a percentage, or a fixed number based an a formula like...(Your lvl x Lvl of division being cast x 10) But thats just a WILD guess.
