is it worth to get fast shot and rapid shot?

IMO, it is. Sometimes, a long shot/distance shot is not enough to kill a mob. It's left with like 2-3% HP. That's when you use fast shot, as a finisher. In this case it's worth getting only level 1 of it (if you only plan on solo playing).

However, if you choose to party play, rapid shot might prove useful for luring mobs from afar, then to be taken over by the warriors.

Its useful in PvP .. when you wanna masacre shitloads of noobs gathered around.

I agree with Stress. Fast Shot is generally not needed IMO because it does low damage. In PvE it can still help to finish monsters with low HP and to lure new ones. Rapid Shot may prove to be the more useful of the two because of the multi-shot, but both are practically the same. If you don't like attracting aggro while soloing then go with Fast Shot. Even level 1 Rapid Shot works well in luring. Neither are used much in PVP, and both can be left at level 1 if you feel like it since they are not essential.

I see our rogues using it at fortress while on the walls since its range is really high, it must be annoying for the attackers.

that would be my main reason for getting it. at lvl 90..you can pretty much 2-3 hit wizards with just the rapid shot...if not 1hit with crit ^_^

also it's great for luring uniques xD

Fast shot should be maxed because it is a good mob finisher. You will find it helpful in hunting. Rapid Shot just get level 1 because it aggroes too many mobs at once. And in PvP not many people will stand that close to each other for it to be useful.
