Hybrid help

I might be makeing a new hybrid 1:3 STR most likely glaive and i was wondering what kind of build and masterys i should get, i was thinking 90 heuk/light/fire and 30 cold. any suggestion if i should get these materies and what kind of skills i should get for that build or one you suggest? thanks

thanks for your suggestion Although im quite confused on what skills i should get~(heauk ) i know i should get most/nearly all PHYS damage skills, but not quite sure about the ranged one, ( where you throw ) would it be better to get that one or a nuke of some sort? I also know for light that i should get all the buffs, speed, passive ( not sure about the nuke and shout ) and from fire ill be useing the imbue, phy buffs, magical buffs and etc( but what about fire nukes?) Its a complicated build for me because this will be my first hybrid ( planned ) I'm confused if i should get nukes( with lion shout) or will it be a watse of sp and time? I'll also be wearing protector if it helps, so if anyone could read this post and see if i should get the nukes and what certain type of skills i should get with my build, would be appricated. I'll be starting the character hopefully by tommorow so i need some suggestions so i can plan how much sp i need etc. *edit* and ice for some snow shield, phys buffs and passive

Well, the 3:1 str hyb you're going for's a 90% phy bal naked hybrid....

naked | max blues | w/ prem + (w/ heuk pass)

HP: 22,112 | 27,757 | 28,340
MP: 8,972 | 14,618 | 15,201
phy bal: 90% | 101% | 103%
mag bal: 39% | 56% | 59%


Don't bother getting the nukes, since your magical balance'll be too low to deal any decent amount of damage with 'em.

I think 90 Heuk, 90 Fire'll be good.....the other 120 you could go w/ 90 light and 30 cold or vice-versa 90 cold, 30 light or 60/60

As for the skills part, since you're just a 90% str hybrid....I'll say you're similar to a pure str glaiver. Read the guide below, I'm sure it can help ya.

thanks for the advice Overall, do you think that this build will be fine? i mean, it looks descent to me. What skills do you think i should get for lightning/fire? And also i have a question about the Pierceing force skill in lightning~ Should i get this skill? it increases magical damage so is it worth it?

For the build, I think it'll be fine.

Well as for the skills

Fire ~

Imbue, Flame Body, Fire shield (immunity), Fire protection, Fire combustion (can skip till you farm), passive.

Lightning ~ (dunno how high you'll take it, but here's the skills)

Piercing Force (since you're hybrid, your magical attack does a lil' more than a pure str's, so get it....every lil' bit helps), Grasswalk / Phantom, Concentration, Passive.
