Dual Axes VS 2 Handed Sword

I was deciding on making a new character and i wanted to be euro but i don't know whether dual axes are better or 2 handed swords i just would like some peoples oppinions to help me decide thx

Try getting both. A complete warrior should, ideally, have all three weapons: 1h, 2h and DA. They all have their specific purposes.

Dual Axes have high damage per second, and can stun and inflict bleed status. 2h swords deal out massive damage, but their hits are slower.

EDIT: if you don't plan on farming too much, you can just go 2h. That's what most people choose.

i like them both dual axes as stress said have high damage per second but 2h does massive hits per blow. i would recommend getting both and 1h because then you become a true warrior. oh btw axes aint to good at lower lvls with npc gear lol iv learned that the hard way. at lvl 40 they start to get better. also if you dont want to farm i would say maybe axes because well they have the phy def passive and the cure thingy not sure what its called.

For me try getting 2handed sword skills 1st.. coz it can help you lvl faster.. and just farm for the other skills later..

I currently going up to down, i have my 1h sword skills farmed up to my gap, 2h sword almost half way, i am trying to reach lv80 mastery (to get all the attack skills) and then keep the mastery at that level till i hit lvl90, which would make me farm enough to lvl 2h to max and also the DA to max, i cant wait for that, 2h would get max fast since im already half way..

Axes are ok, gotta hit the right combos.
Really 1H and 2H are all you need to be an awesome warrior. 2H cannot tank nearly as well as 1H.
A sunned up 2H can tank as well as a 1H in basic +4/5. Im sure of that.

And dull + kd + triple swing and charge swing = epic win.
