90 ice for Full STR glaivers and/or STR Bowers?

I was wondering: how would full STR builds fare off with 90 ice. I'm not considering blade here. Bladers have enough defense from their knockdowns and stabs, and from the shield.

How about 90 ice for glaivers and bowers? (Build: 90 fire / 90 weapon / 90 cold / 30 light) Bowers, having ranged attack, don't need to move that much in guild wars / group fighting. Euros are pretty dangerous, rogues and warriors being especially vicious. Wouldn't 90 ice help the STR builds tank and kill the euros better? IMO, they stand a better chance this way. Of course, a double daredevil crit or a rogue blue bolt (don't know what it's called) crit kills, but against the regular attacks, I believe 90 ice would definitely help a lot.

IMO, people should not aim at the 90 ice build as they start the game up. It's rather hard to give up lightning, as it speeds up the grind considerably. However, the max-ice build is what I would call a cap-build. A capped player definitely has enough money to buy drugs, if needed (just like an euro does). 90 ice and 90 fire, wearing protectors, gives a tremendous amount of defense, and, IMO, makes the builds very survivable.

Bowers can tank with arrow combos, but arrow combo means the enemy gets a chance to pot as well. With 90 ice, I think archers can rather concentrate on the high-hitting skills (such as Anti-Devil, Strong Bow and Demon Arrow), not being forced to rely so much on the arrow combo to survive.

90 ice with glaivers is all about being mighty at close range, both against INT (with fan storm), and against STR's (Euros or Chinese).

reason people dont get ice because most people are immune to it, for me i like ice but it would mean more farming

I'd agree to some extent, the difference between 80 ice and 90 ice is huge. And the ice imbue can come in handy when nukers start to drop fire for light/ice/weapon aswell. But im not sure if 90 ice will benefit that much more than lets say Lightning or dual weapons. Lightning for bows means a lot specially with phantoming back etc. A phantom that saves you from a hit can be compared to like a penny saved is a penny earned tanking wise (Made sense?) Or with a dual weapon glaive/heuksal, I've seen people using the build in a way that they would use buffs from both trees/attack skills like the kd and chains.

Indeed 90 lightning benefits plenty too, but, at the cap, isn't ice more valuable?

I'm level 83 and although I have a fair amount of gold, I don't have enough to spend it on speed drugs. The cost adds up fast. I'm saving up for a last garment set at the moment.

I remember them being 91k and 250k but last time I checked, haven't they gone up in price since then?

I'd like 90 ice, though. It sounds good. I've gone with 60 ice and 60 light for my pure strength.

well i know a glaiver in our server that has maxed ice to his lvl and wears armor and he is a fvcking tank he takes out nukers to no problem seen him tank 2 85+ glaivers

i am a glaiver to myself i am going for 90 lighting simply cuz i wear prot don't need much extra Phy Defence and the Ghost walk shadow skill is just to important in my fighting style to lose

well with my build which is a lvl 71 str bowman, with pacheon, fire 71 and light and ice 60. I originaly thought of having ice at 90 but the passive and buffs you recieve at lvl 60 seem to do a good enough job. Also 60 light does help with speed buffs and the extra magical damage. With snow shield at 20% and wearing armour pvp is not that hard with euros and etc.
