you will get alot of answers, the usuall subs are bard, cleric, though alot of people are adding in warlock as the secondary.

IMO bard is the best subclass for a Xbow rogue.
Noise will help ALOT in leveling, and also in jobbing:
While jobbing you will be in stealth, and when you see someone you will quickly snipe him off from miles away. Maybe snipe off one more enemy, and then you run away. Moving march will help you while running away. Noise will help you to activate stealth quicker. You can't use stealth for a period after the last fight. Fighting also counts getting attacked by a mob. So if you want to use stealth in an area with alot of aggro mobs you're doomed, unless you have noise. In parties you could also just dance, because you won't have enough MP to heal everyone's MP.
