hyb 1:5 int build

so i been looking at a lot of stuff, and my next char is going to be a 1:5 hyb int. its masteries will be 90 fire/weapon and 60 ice/light. i cant decide whether to go s/s or spear? any sugestions

I'd say spear. No big reason for that, just think that you will have enough hp, so using a spear would be better for you as it will give you high damage.

spear hybrids will trouble choosing skills at 100 cap since cold must be dropped and they need the snow to survive, swords can live without it

For 100 cap I think all hybrids above (below?) will be screwed.
Anyway, for 90 cap.. def. spear. You won't be able to kill a glavier in garms with a 1:5 s/s

yes you can, 5:1 has over 100% magic balance with full blues and with bleed and division can do MORE dmg than a spear

people really underestimate hybrid s/s nukers.

I was a 65 blader ful str and pvped a hybrid s/s nuker. I couldn't kill them and soon enough they killed me. Its not so hard as a hybrid nuker to get that lucky few shots in as u use nukes as well as KD and stab.

So if they killed me a full str blader. Then i think they can kill glaviers

at cap and both with perfect blues gear, there is NO chance a hybrid s/s nuker can win a str blader (only pure has a chance)

in their snowshield period, there is little chance u can kill him (unless impotent + div and then 3 crits), juz spam KD till snow runs out, he will be dead wif either div/bleed or impotent/bleed or some big crits

if ur blader loses to a hybrid s/s in pvp, its ur pvp technique/gear sux, not hybrid s/s is strong, nor blader is weak
