question about cold lightning and fire

I'm building a nuker, and lately all i have seen is people go for lighting and cold?
so my question is has cold changed enough to make signifiantly more damage? because if so i have to worry about that in my build.

Also whats a good PvP job and PvE build for spear nuker

no no changes they use cold only for buffs it have good def
and i also have same problom i dont know whaat to do
about nuker spear

no cold is still weak when used for damage, people specially INT builds go for cold because:
1-snow shield gives almost 60% defense which is spectacular... most important skill for INT builds
2-INT builds have high magical defense and low physical defense so the ice guard is a must or STRs will own you without the snow shield
3-in pve or in pvp against builds with no immunity blues or cleric freezing is awesome
4-the last cold skills that increases physical defense permanently

light is your imbue and is the most important mastery for any INT build because parry ratio, speed, its nuke that is almost equivalent to the fire nuke and piercing force to increase attack and heavens force that increase parry ratio permanently.

if you want to be good at pvp then a weapon mastery is a must and since you use a spear maxing hesukal is a must

why a no go for fire ?
the fire nuke isn't that much stronger than the lightning one and same goes for the imbue, you also don't need magical defense since your an INT build and physical damage increase isn't that important

i see but does fire also give you another nuke to use?

at level 50 you will have 2 light nukes to use and 2 lion shouts which is all you need...

fire nukes are'nt that stronger than light ones and a nuker doesnt need more than 2 nukes

at level 70 you get a new light nuke (best looking nuke in my opinion) and after the new 90 cap you get a new light nuke never seen before more powerful (or equivalent to) than the fire nuke so i heard...

yea i heard that to.. dam i gotta farm a bunch to.. for all 3 classes

just calcualted it and it was like 900k
